We were excited to try it since the ownership change. The floors were so slick we felt like we were ice skating. The ladies room... was nasty. Our server was quick then hard to find after drinks. Food came out in pieces. There were 4 of us. One ordercompletely wrong. Refills were not an option. Our server didn't know the specifics of most menu items, but said she'd beenthere a while. Great place for gatherings. The new management is really bringing back the good food and service. Best burger I’ve ever had.
Fat Patty’s used to be a fun place to hang out and grab a bite to eat. Now it’s a sad corpse of what it was in it’s glory... days. The interior: What happened? The place feels bright and weird. The restaurant ambiance is killed by the white walls andthe gray wood floors (and the weird transition pieces from the gray to the brown floors). The walls used to be dark green andthe floors used to be all dark wood and carpet. This kept the place dim and feeling like a sports bar. This place no longerfeels like a sports bar. It doesn’t even feel like a restaurant. The service: My table’s service was alright. However, atable next to us, after waiting for several minutes to be served, got up and left. The weird thing is the manager was lurkingaround the whole time and never thought to wait on these people? And about the manager, during most of our visit, he lurkedaround the restaurant floor but never spoke to any of the guests and didn’t help out the servers despite the fact that peopleweren’t being timely served. It felt like we were being watched by our principal at recess. The food: The food is alright andstill affordable. Keep in mind, nobody really went to Fat Patty’s for the food quality. It was always about the atmosphere,the friendly service, and the affordable prices. So while their still doing alright on the food, they are flopping on the twoother things that really made Fat Patty’s a local staple. Fat Patty’s has lost it’s way. And it was evident—there washardly anybody there at dinner time! This place used to always be packed any day if the week. What a shame. Hire an interiordesigner and reinvest in what made this place so great: the atmosphere! And Mr. Manager—stop lurking and get this place goingagain! I miss Fat Patty’s. Everybody misses Fat Patty’s. Great place, great food. The open face roast beef was truly delicious. Bobby was the bartender and he was fantastic. The prices... are very reasonable and I truly enjoyed my time there. Wish I could go back for dinner tomorrow. I'd get the Salisbury steakbecause it looked so damn good. Read more
Our waitress was Alexas and she was so nice to us!! She made sure our orders were correct and brought everything out pretty... quickly! Will definitely be back and making sure we request her next time for how amazing she was! Read more
Service is rude... they are doing you a favor by serving you. Hygiene is disgusting. I bet the gaskets are thick with mold.... Just an assumption but after 10 years of restaurant experience, dirty floors mean dirty everything! Read more
Fat Patty’s used to be our favorite restaurant. The ownership changed, the service and all went downhill. So we stopped going... there. This weekend was the first time in 3 months that we went back to the place to have a birthday party. The service was farand beyond. The server was very friendly and provided the best service she could. The food was good. We had such a great time.This definitely encourages us to go back and gives the restaurant a second chance.
