First time there. Went with brother and sister in law who dine there frequently. We were there at 7:30 pm for their fish fry.... Nice, clean place. Friendly bar tender and waite staff. It was not very busy at that time. Garden salad was fresh and generous.I had 2 pc battered cod with fries. It was lightly battered and good. Could also get broiled or a shrimp plate..sis in law andhubby had potato rounds and brother in law had sweet potato fries. Could also order off menu. Meals came with a slice of sweetbread. We tried this place multiple times. Each time has been a miserable experience. This time I thought I should write a review... because our prime rib sandwiches tasted like roadkill and smelled about the same. I?ve had better sandwiches from gas stationsand only spend 2 dollars. Along with better customer service. Seems like the times we went here it would take a long time toplacing our order to taking away dirty dishes to receiving our check. Maybe mgmt needs to check the cooler more often. BecauseI?m sure the prime rib was passed the it?s shelf life! Last time we had an issue about the the food, it didn?t seemed to matterto them. So maybe this time you will pay better attention to your food, customer service and just the politeness. So we willnot be spending any more time or money here. Mother's day buffet was not what I hoped. The potatoes tasted bad. Could have used a salad. Wait staff was great. Waffle irons... were present but not batter to put in it. We've been there before and found it better. Read more
Went to Glacier Rock for buffet-style Mother's Day brunch. Service is good, staff are friendly, but the food looked like it had... all been put out on the tables the night before. Overcooked, dried out and mostly bland or over-salted. The lox was good. Butreally? No bagels, just a loaf of store-bought bread? I liked the fresh fruit. The chocolate cake was a little dry, but stillone of the only things I enjoyed. At $23 per person, definitely a ripoff. Read more
Can't even comment on the quality of the food. After coming in at 7 we left at 8:20 wondering what was going on. We had to go... to the counter at 8 to even get our cole slaw. No acknowledgement from our waitress once she brought our drinks to even let usknow things were backed up. We only saw one table be served their meal in that whole time. We asked them how long it took toget served and they told us 2 hours. Decided to leave before we fainted from hunger. Good luck to those left waiting. Read more
My boyfriend and I come here on Friday nights for fish. The food is always very good, but the Friday night service is always... terrible. I understand being short staffed, but the service has always been so unorganized and not managed well. The young boythat does seating and bussing has always been a pleasure and needs a raise!!! We really enjoy the food here but the chances ofus coming back because of the service is getting pretty slim. You could tell that the tables seated before us were irritatedbecause they had to wait to order after us, so they got up and left. Another table that was sat after us, never got greeted sothey got up and left. The table next to us was upset because they waited so long for their bill. The server needs to be betterat multi tasking and managing her tables needs. Where is the management at this place??? Read more
