Had a reservation here on a Saturday night, we followed the host to our table and it was about three feet from the very loud... singer. Had we known there would be live music (just a guy singing to music playing on his computer) we would not have made thereservation. Maybe we would have stayed if it wasn't as loud or we had a better table. Why would I pay ~$40 a plate when I can'teven hear my spouse talk across the table from me? We asked for another table, no dice. Got seated downstairs at Sorrentos -completely different menu so not what we wanted when we made the reservation. Basically olive garden food for $30 a plate. Wedecided to leave. Again, had we known there would be overly loud live entertainment, we would not have make the booking in thefirst place (which is a $10 no show/cancellation fee - ridiculous) Don't recommend unless you like paying for very expensivefood and not being able to hear yourself think. I can’t say enough about the service, food and wine offered at Chefs Table at Sorrento's. Bert (restaurant host) went out of... his way to find us a table, on a crowded evening no less, and paired us with Tyler (our server) which took our overallexperience to the next level! We’ve travelled to many locations around the world and this will continue to be one of the best.If you’re ever in Banner Elk, NC, check out this place, you won’t be disappointed! Read more

Just ok. Nothing special and certainly not worth the price tag. Wouldn’t recommend to a friend. 3 stars because the starter... Brussels sprouts were delish and the waiter (bartender) was awesome but it ends there. Cold bread, lukewarm risotto and pre madesushi - no thanks. Read more

My friends and I come here often, we love the atmosphere and the music! The staff is friendly and accommodating! Taylor was... our waiter and he was AWESOME! Funny, attentive and fun. We dined here this past weekend and I was slightly disappointed. Themenu changes often, which is not a bad thing, but this time around we didn’t love it. No one ordered apps because we did notlike any of them. We ended up sharing some sushi rolls which were delish! Our main course was good as well. Dessert wasentertaining to watch but not the best- dulce de leche crepes, really were not made with dulce de leche. Again, slightlydisappointed on the menu but we enjoyed each others company. Some of our friends mentioned the lack of bourbon choices they hadand that it was pricey for mediocre bourbon. Read more

Everything was delicious, but I do recommend the trout. I also recommend getting as many desserts as you can.

Not going to take the time to go into too much detail but in general, not what it should be and not quite what we were... expecting. Tiny salt and pepper shakers on the table was the 2nd clue. 1st clue was bringing not quite completely cooked breadand calling it a gift from the chef. It was accompanied by a bottle of oil and a bottle of vinegar… mix it yourself if youlike, but there wasn’t a dish to mix it in. Cook temps were perfect but overall flavor was lacking on both of our entrees.Credit card fee added on. Not terrible but we won’t return and can’t recommend. Read more
