I was used to Skip, original Coffee Pot on State Street all of life. My children, as adults, ran there when they came home from... out of state. At first you had this unique flavor that was only "Coffee Pot"; over time it went away. The sandwiches aren't badat all, but the undeniable Coffee Pot taste is gone. Read more

As a kid I always got sandwiches from skip best sandwiches but not now the past few times the onions are so overwhelming thats... all u taste is called and they said order half the onions..it should be automatic bu she said they are generous on onions whowants to eat that much onion... not us. Staff was very slow coming to the front counter, easily mixed up when taking my very simple order, unsure if they had egg salad... I?ve worked in a sandwich shop for many years and The Coffee Pot is a unique and wonderful experience that not many places can... recreate. The staff is friendly and the sandwiches are always amazing. Seriously give this place a try and if you do I doubtyou?ll ever go to subway again.
