Pricy and mediocre breakfast buffet, terrible service (lack there of). Would not recommend it at all.

The food was so bad. My family and I visited this ? all you can eat? restaurant as part of our visit to Banff. The food was so... limited. For appetizers the only available options were mashed potatoes, steamed corn, and tofu stuffed portobello mushrooms.Nothing special about any of them. Main courses were horrible. There was some sort of cod fish available but it was way toosalty that we couldn?t eat the rest after taking a bite. The duck lasagna was at best a 5/10 and the chicken was extermely dry.The tomato soup was very bland and the salads including the pasta and beans salad were rotten and felt like leftovers from lastnight. The deserts and service were okay hence the 2 stars. The view was also fantastic and all non-alcoholic drinks wereincluded. Keep in mind, you pay for the food upon entering the restaurants which is uncommon . If you are going for the view,definitely go for it but if you are going for the food AVOID at all costs since my family and I left this ? all you can eat?restaurant hungry. Read more

We went to Vistas for dinner which was delicious and the views were breathtaking! The service was also quite impressive! The... value for money is great because it is AYCE (including non-alcoholic drinks) and well, obviously... the VIEWS! It is worthnoting that the menu options are quite limited, though. The only complaint we have is that the cut fruit on the dessert tabletasted on the side of rotten, as well as some of the charcuterie options on the cold cuts table. This was always a wonderful experience dining here for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We had the pleasure of dining here for a few... days during an unfortunate time during the 2013 floods and got to experience multiple meals. Quality service and such a varietyof food. The only thing I am not sure about now is how much vegan foods they had or how accommodating they were able to be withany food restrictions. Beautiful views! Tons of space but can get busy. Unforgettable food - Unforgettable view I?m at the Banff Centre for meetings every couple years and have been coming for 18... years and the Vista Dining room is what wows our groups each time. Creative food, every day! Even the eggs each morning are soconsistent: Creamy, fluffy, heaven. They often make fresh ice cream, it is always unforgettable. The staff are so polite andhospitable. But here?s the thing - it?s called ?Vistas? for a reason. Good gracious that view!!!! There?s a walkway outsidethe main doors coming in and each day, I love to watch people pause, look at the view and it?s so clear that in that moment theyare grateful to be alive. *Secret tip if you?re in a big group. They put down pitchers of ice tea and lemonade but if you wanta soda, just ask. Most people figure this out after a couple days. Let me save you that time. Read more
