We went to this Italian restaurant for the very first time and we love it! It was a very pleasant experience from the people who... greeted us to our server Harry! Harry went above and beyond, he explained everything and he helped us to choose the meal,exceptional customer service!! We ordered Chicken Alfredo with Mushroom and Mascarpone Cheese Ravioli and it was the best pastain my life! I was enjoying every piece of this dish! This meal comes with freshly baked bread and garlic butter, soup/salad ofyour choice and ice cream. We also ordered Seafood Fettuccine Alfredo with with our spinach and egg fettuccine noodles, it wasvery yummy! Portion are big, it?s nice that everything included in price. You can also get free coffee and tea. We had our mealswith classic red sangria, highly recommended!! The interior is very interesting, a lot of stained glass windows, vintage lampsand wooden chairs! I had an amazing experience here. Our server, Thomas was the best! He was kind, sweet and friendly. He is an exceptional server... and management should know this. The food itself was good too, and the price was on the affordable end. I came with my sisterand brother-in law and we all enjoyed our time here. I only heard of the old spaghetti factory a few years ago when I visited Hawaii and I was surprised to see it was also in Banff... so I had to give it a try because I loved it the first time! The item that I had in Hawaii and loved was also on the menu here.I had the penne with pesto Alfredo sauce and added chicken. The sauce was just as I remembered and was delicious and filling.However, the pasta was a bit over cooked. The chicken was super soft and there was plenty in the dish. The decor was beautiful. Service was great. But the food was just average. Meatballs did not have much texture, it was too... finely ground almost like sausage. The pastas were also overcooked. Truly you don?t pay for the food but you pay for the experience? Amazing Host, Amazing Service, Amazing Ambiance. We been... visiting OSF since we called Bow Valley our forever home. In all these years they have maintained the quality of food, theirunique flavours and generous portions. Love everything on their menu. All the staff and servers were friendly and attentive. Theplace followed all the safety protocols during the pandemic. Highly recommend if you happen to visit Banff. Was here on a Thursday afternoon (around 3 pm) and the place was on the quieter side, which was perfectly fine. The greeter was... friendly and showed us to our seat and was in general pleasant. We ordered the French onion soup, the carbonara, and the pestolinguine with chicken. Although the French onio soup was good it wasn't the quality I was expecting based on previous visits atother locations in Edmonton and Calgary. The pastas were undercooked and the pesto sauce was not blended properly. Both pastasalso tasted pretty bland. Ordered a bottle of wine and interestingly our server never actually served it to us, like younormally expect (presenting it, approval, and finally serving it).
