Very fast to get the beaver tail Though it was very oily and 7.5$ Didn?t have that much banana or Nutella on it. Pastry was slim... which made it felt light. Not sure if I prefer it this way or if I would have preferred it to be thicker. Read more

Beaver Tails, a better canadian invention than insulin. Or basketball. Or Justin Trudeau. Or five pin bowling or kraft dinners... or constitutionalized bilingualism or the wonderbra (Not ordered according to rank of greatness, we can all agree that kraftdinners are superior to Trudeau). The dough was honestly way better than any fried dough I?ve had on a blurry new years nighton the streets of Boston. It?s honestly incredibly chewy yet crispy. The toppings were varied and all had a unique character. Myfavorite was the maple, it had sweetness as well as a nice crunch. My only complaint would be how messy it was to eat! It is myunderstanding that BeaverTails are not actually ubiquitous across Canada. Get on that Trudeau! I feel that corporateprotectionism for this industry in particular is appropriate! if you enjoyed this review, follow bqireviewsfoodongoogle oninstagram! Read more

My first time having a Beavertail and it was without a doubt a WOW moment. The crispy pastry was absolutely delightful as i was... expecting more of a donut type base. The toppings were incredible, very sweet, which can be good or bad. That said, it wasdelicious. Had the Avalanche and tried the Brwownie. Read more

What's not to love about hot, fresh, fried dough at any time of day? We arrived just as they opened on a brisk morning and got... to watch the friendly employee prepare our delicious goodies! We go the Killaloe Sunrise and Bananarama and one tail is plentyfor one person; the portion sizes are huge! The Bananarama had the perfect amount of hazelnut spread, but the Killaloe Sunrisewas the real star of the day. Bright, sweet, chewy on the edges and crisp in the very middle. I highly recommend thatflavor. Our service was quick, personable, and friendly. I'm really glad we stopped by for this iconic Canadian treat! Read more

Honestly, can't go wrong with fried dough and sugar. This place doesn't disappoint in that regards. Service was friendly but a... bit on the slower end on my experience. I recommend getting the Killaloe (cinnamon sugar with a lemon wedge) as it's not overlysweet but absolutely delicious if you add in a spritz of lemon juice. Read more
