They got the chicken hot and sour soup right, it was thick and tangy with fresh flavors. The Thai iced tea was sweet and... refreshing. The rest of the food we ordered was bland. There was no salt in the chicken chow mein and the pineapple fried ricelacked the spicy kick we were looking for. The sauce in the cashew chicken was not savory and did not coat the chicken pieceswell. The fried ice cream could have been better and not so boring. Worth more than 3.8 stars once we tried. We arrived in Banff after travelling for 5 days and wanted something different than on... the road food. This hit the spot and the food was delicious. We ordered the set meal for 2 and they were happy changing the porkspring rolls to vegetable and the chicken fried rice to egg fried rice. Staff were friendly and kept refilling our water aswell. We spent 2 days in Banff and had dinner in this restaurant twice. Excellent food and very friendly service. Big amount of food... at a reasonable price. The waitresses are very kind and refill your water glass every time they see that it is empty. Irecommend it 100%! Read more
Awful! terrible restaurant The food has no taste and is poor quality. The service is terrible, they pressured me 4 times to take... the order and then disappear. The prices of the entrance menu are cheaper than the menu inside. Bathrooms are no so cleaneither. Please avoid this place. Read more
Very rarely would I take a chance with a restaurant that is rated below 4 stars. But in this case, after 5 days on the road with... only sandwiches and burgers, the craving for traditional Chinese food overcame any bias. And boy, am I sure glad it did! Theportions were HUMONGOUS! (I wish my husband had Chinese taste buds, but I had to order two traditional dishes just for myself,which could have easily fed 3 or 4 people). Ate here in June. Locate upstairs with a nice view of Banff main street and the surrounding mountains. Food was good. Huge... servings. So order to share. Service was fast and good. Read more
