I?ve been watching ig and wanted to support but I don?t think I could ever go back. I ordered a lake trout dinner (not on the... menu). $20 for 1 piece of small fish. Had a smell to it so it wasn?t fresh. Mac and cheese was old and crumbled up. Sweetpotatoes was petty good. Then to top off my $40 meal they wanted to charge $4 to use my card. That was over the top. I really wanted to be able to give them a higher score, but the Mac & cheese was a doozy. Positives: My food was ready way... before the promised time (I ordered on Grub Hub). The mango twist was delicious. The wings...Baybeeee. The wings taste so good. The fries were also good. The concept of the Yammy (mac n cheese with yams in a jar) is super creative. Yams weresweet! Negativess: I asked for honey old bay wings. Not a drop of honey in sight. I had to add my own honey. The Mac n cheesewas so disgusting I had to throw it away. I ordered the food yesterday and tried to let it sit overnight and reheat to see ifthat would help. The elbows were sooooooo soggy it doesn't make any sense. Pure mush. Tons of strings in the yams. I know theyhave strings in them, never experienced this much, not even when I cook them. Tried to get a good pic of the strings. Read more

I wasn't crazy about the Mac n cheese because it was too soft. The noodles were mushy. I had the turkey wing dinner. The yams... were good. If the Mac n cheese wasn't so mushy I'd give it more stars over all good food. I'd give another try. Read more

I ordered the 3 pc whiting dinner with Mac and cheese and sweet potatoes. Not only was my food delivered quickly but it was nice... and hot and everything was very flavorful. I couldn?t even eat it all because the portions were big. So my daughter helped mefinish. I came across a local Soul Food shop while driving to pick the girls school supplies. They didn't have any obvious signs showing... they were opened. I just went inside to check it out. Ordered a platter (the small white menu on the glass wall was veryconfusing...I thought you ordered each item individually ????). Platters range from $15.00, $20,00 and $25.00. Prices are highfor the location and area but they may have to price correct after they are open longer. It's a new soul food spot. Supportthem. I ordered french toast (which was buttery and great), beef sausage and over easy eggs. The platter came with home fries(no onions that I saw). Plate was small for $15.00. It should be like $10. Food came with a tiny kids orange juice. The younglady behind the glass was professional and nice. It's a great local find. It's worth another visit, but prices are pretty highso maybe it's not good for every day lunch or breakfast. Food was tasty and the home fries were not salty which is awesome. ????Looks like they are on GrubHub. I never knew they were open until today. I drove by 100 times. Ask for condiments (e.g.ketchup, etc...they don't put in the bag). They do sell pork so be careful and mindful of what you are ordering for non-porkeaters. Read more
