Reviews for Tijuana Tacos & Deli in Baltimore, MD
Ordered surtidas/mixtas. The person on the phone asked if they could substitute a meat into our mixtas. Our surtido/mixta wound... up being a bunch of slices of something that seemed like it was pure fat. There was no chicken or beef, just some sort of porkfat. They even labeled the box mixta. The second. photo is some of the meat that we picked out of our chimichanga mixta. Thebeef chimichanga was good, but we ate that before we decided to post a review. In summary, order specific meats. Don't ordermixtas/surtido unless you tell them specifically what meats they should include, or you may wind up with an intensely fattyprotein instead. Read more
Delicious tacos that we can't get enough of within walking distance from where we live. The carne enchilada tacos are super! If... I really have to compare, Tortillaria Sinaloa still has a smidge better flavoring on their steaks. Read more

I?m relatively new to Baltimore, and am so grateful that I live up the street from this place. I?m still exploring and finding... my fav places but this was an instant hit. I get the same thing every time: a mushroom quesadilla and an order of rice & beans. And then horchata if I?m feeling like I want to consume dairy. I love walking here and picking up my food, saving on deliveryfees. Dinner is $8-15 depending on what you get. The food is always hot and I?ve never had any complaints. The person who worksthe phone/cashier is always so nice. I call and start walking because the food is always ready to be picked up in 10-15 minutes. The only thing that would make it better is if avocado came with the quesadilla, but I?ve also never asked! These tacos are so good I got tripa and tacos al pastor and the amount of meat they put on will leave you more than satisfied.
I ordered there for the first time today. The woman on the phone was very nice and pleasant. I ordered guacamole and chips and 3... chicken tacos. It was about $18 I believe. Everything was delicious! And they were wonderful size portions. I have some leftover for lunch tomorrow. The chips are thick which made scooping the guac very manageable and they did not break. The tacos werenicely seasoned. Came with a few slices of cucumbers and radishes. The cucumbers were very fresh but I don't like radish. Willdefinitely come here again! Read more
Legit! Wife and I visited after she found it on a Twitter top tacos in Baltimore and this was one on the list. We just moved... back after living in Texas for three years and have been hurting for tacos. This place delivered. The carne enchilada (spicy)was my favorite. The carne asada tasted great and the pollo asado was cool. Fries were not impressive -I was expecting them tobe seasoned, ketchup helped. Guacamole was hittin!!! So fresh. Read more
Ordered here for the first time this week. Ordered three items from the menu: 3 chicken tacos, chalupas, and a burrito. I was... over charged for ALL THREE ITEMS. When I walked in with $40 cash, the cashier said "THE PRICE IS ON THE RECEIPT". Each item onthe receipt was at least $2 more than the menu price. I figured maybe prices had just gone up since the menu was updated last.Did some internet investigating for their menus and prices. So, we called to ask the price of a burrito: $11.99. I explainedthat I was charged way more for my burrito and the person on the phone said "they could not understand". The food was good, butI feel very taken advantage of by this place. The reason I don't typically eat at local Hispanic restaurants is because I don'tspeak Spanish. I will not be going back. If you decide to patronize this restaurant, make sure you're being charged the price onthe menu or you speak Spanish so that you can argue when the tab comes. Read more
