We had eaten here a couple times and really liked the food, so decided to ask them to cater our small wedding. Everything we had... was excellent, and very good attention to detail too (they even printed us out a nice menu for the day). The owner is friendlyand easy to work with. Highly recommend! Read more

This place is great! I've been multiple times and it's a consistently amazing meal every time. I've tried many items and have... yet to find anything on the menu that isn't tasty. I'd highly recommend Verandah, it's definitely one of the best Indian foodrestaurants in Baltimore! Read more

Absolutely incredible food, and the staff is delightful! Between two of us, we had 5-6 plates and ate literally every bite that... we could. It was delicious and we look forward to going back ASAP. The lemonades are very interesting and yummy too! Ipersonally loved the ginger/mint one. Super refreshing and a decent size. Read more

The food was bland and the rice was mushy. The menu looked promising due to the regional dishes that aren't commonly found in... America but the flavors just weren't there. Read more

Okay, the place we were looking for was gone but this place was nearby. Sounded interesting so we stumbled in to find a food... paradise. I do recommend the small plates because they are all so good. It?s byob, but a liquor store nearby. The gingerlemonade was amazing. Staff is courteous and efficient, prices are reasonable, we got out for less than 40 a person, notincluding tip. Read more

Great place to enjoy a quick bite and a drink outside. Ask for the housemade chilli oil to add some delicious spice to your... meal. They don't serve alcohol but you can bring your own. The wine source is right around the corner so make a quick stopthere before. Presentation and food are both great and the service was a nice compliment to them. Read more

My fiance and I dined here on a busy Sunday evening. We sat at one of the outdoor tables. I have absolutely nothing negative to... say about The Verandah. Everything was absolutely marvelous. The cuisine was divine, and the family who runs the restaurant andserves the tables is extremely friendly and welcoming. We ordered six different small plates (which they specialize in), andeach and every one was unique and delicious. We started with the paneer kofta and the samosa chaat -- both were among the bestpaneer and samosa dishes I've ever had the pleasure of eating. We then moved on to chilli chicken and amritsari fish fry, whichcompletely blew our expectations for those dishes, and were extremely delicious. We rounded off with vada paav and kheema paav, which were also excellent, though beware that the vada paav is served with roasted serrano peppers which are extremely spicy!Every single dish blew our minds and were among the best indian cuisine we've ever eaten. The family is also extremely friendlyand engaged us in memorable dialogue about the various menu items and their pleasure to cook and serve them. I would stronglyrecommend The Verandah, and we will most certainly be back (frequently). Also, it's BYOB, which is a really great bonus for asmall sort of neighborhood restaurant like this. Read more
