Did not try the food or drink. They wanted me to pay for water instead of providing tap water (illegal) but that could have been... a misunderstanding. This would have killed the place for me immediately but they gave me a bottle of water that I filled in thebathroom sink the rest of the night. I'll try again next time and confirm it was a one time thing and modify my ratingaccordingly. Tickets were probably over priced a bit but the night was worth it. Great dancing with some of the local team tofootwork/juke/breaks on the first floor. Smaller stage but very cool vibes. Upstairs was bigger, loved the feel of the place asa venue. Sound was good could maybe use more bass. Dance floor was pretty sticky but we made it work most of the night. Properputs on a good show. Read more

This is not my favorite place but it's also not the worst. I've only been on karaoke nights. The music is always louder than the... singer. The list is of course ridiculously long, so if you don't get there early, you won't sing. The food is a 5/10 at best andthe last time I got the dumplings they were rubbery and warm. Drinks are alright I guess. It's an ok spot if you aren'texpecting much. It is a nice place to meet some nice people. Read more

As an anime fan, this is the ultimate bar! Went on a Sunday night and rented a private karaoke room. They did not have room... service and we had to get out own drinks and bring them back to the karaoke room, but I could obviously see they wereunderstaffed so all is forgiven. Other patrons in the main part of the bar were all watching an anime together on the projectorscreen they have. Great atmosphere although rough around the edges and definitely a one of kind spot in Maryland. Going to bringmy friends back for another karaoke night for sure! Read more

I love the menu item tofu nachos. Being a vegetarian it's so spicy and delicious and most of the menu is meat based. It's a... typically Korean inspired menu. Closed on most Sundays and on Mondays they also have a full bar and local live music inside mostevenings especially Fridays and Saturdays and there's a dance floor. The restaurant doesn't open until between 4 and 430 andit's difficult to get then on the phone to place an order but if you stop by the food never takes too long to make and they dooffer a few dining tables to eat in or get food prepared to take home aka to go. It's unfortunate that they use to answer thephone to take orders and stopped perhaps due to being short staffed but the food is worth between 5 to 15 minute wait while theymake it once you get there and order in person. The door I must say is rather heavy and gets stuck easily so don't bediscouraged...if it's after 430 and between Tuesday and Saturday, it's open...pull harder. Also I'm not sure when the kitchencloses but I'd imagine probably at either midnight or 130am or 2am as that's what time I believe the bar closes and the livemusic stops. It's also conveniently located and only a block north of north Ave along Charles street. It's between north and20th streets along Charles which is a northbound road. St Paul runs north/south and being one block east of Charles, trafficruns southbound and parallel to Charles street. I hope you'll stop by and check out The Crown for their tofu nachos, which are$15 and that's the total for one carry out order after tax. They also have shrimp shumi which is a steamed dumpling with shrimpinside it and comes with an aisan dipping sauce...and fried shrimp terriakki, but these are not vegetarian, as I mentioned theonly true vegetarian and likely vegan dish is the tofu nachos...although the spicy dressing they drizzle on the nachos mightcontain egg ingredients...but it's likely possible to ask for this on the side.. when it comes to leftovers the Read more

Uhhh... 4 weak drinks, 1 shot, and 2 tacos = $100.01??? At a hole in the wall karaoke bar?! I used to really love coming here,... but now I can't afford to ??????????? Pretty certain they're pouring 1oz as opposed to the standard 2 for their cocktails. Therewere folks taking breaks to drink at their car... smart. BYOB is your best bet. Had a fun time here late on a Saturday night. Neat atmosphere, good house music DJ, cool vibes and cool people, and a huge dance... floor. There's a restaurant downstairs and a bar upstairs next to the dance floor. Read more
