Reviews for THAI STREET in Baltimore, MD
I ordered the Basil Fried Rice with shrimp, extra spicy, and it was absolutely delicious. Perfect portion size, flavors were... high, but balanced, the amount of spiciness was spot on, and it was super duper fresh. I'm very much looking forward to goingback for more of their selections. Curry, here I come! Read more
I would not recommend this place to people who are looking for authentic Thai food. I have eaten way better Thai than this.... Seems like they fall short on everything taste, veggies, etc. I am so surprised it has been rated 4.5. Spice is ok but thenwatch for the levels when you order. Overall below avg and will not go back again. Thanks. Read more
So good. I got spoiled coming from an area with really good and authentic Thai food and a lot of the DC area Thai food isn?t... authentic and is pretty bland and not spicy. I expect spice in my Thai food, but also realize that I have no business orderingThai hot, and good Thai food has a lot of flavor that isn?t JUST spice. Thai street was the first Thai restaurant that I triedin Baltimore and it made me realize how much I missed quality Thai dishes. Everything we tried was delicious, and I loved havingleftovers. The Pad Gra Prow was excellent, and it?s one of my favorite dishes but also one that you don?t always see on everymenu. I?m pretty sure I?m going to be trying to convince my husband to let me get Thai Street weekly. Read more
Thai Street is my #1! Wifey and I almost tried every thai food place in MD and We get let down. Not that the food isn?t good at... other places?. Thai street just has a very unique taste that nobody else has maybe it?s quality ingredients or maybe it?s thatyou can choose your own spice level? I don?t know.. whatever they are doing there it is perfect for us. Read more
Good, fast, spicey. Everything you want from a Thai place. The staff are exceptionally helpful. My wife is allergic to soy, and... they were able to give several recommendations for foods she would be able to eat, went out of their way to suggest severaldishes and checked with the chefs to make sure we would be in the clear. It's one of my favorite places in Baltimore, and aneasy recommendation for anyone asking for a place to grab a quick bite. Read more
The restaurant is inconsistent. I've dined at Thai street a few times and order something different each time. The basil fried... rice is great, I recommend trying it out. However my Pad Thai was flavorless. I hate to say it but it was the worst I've everhad. I hope Thai street can improve their consistency across all menu items. Otherwise, ordering here will continue to be a hitor miss. Read more
Phenomenal Thai food that matches and sometimes surpasses some of the best Thai places around the country. Drunken noodles,... papaya salad, panang curry and red curry (level3/4) taste great! Beware of level 5 and 6 and try it with Thai ice tea, if youcan handle it. I can but I think 4 is the sweet spot for flavor and burn! Friendly and efficient staff. Shout out to Evan andAnthony, my friends who are up front managing this place. Will keep coming to Thai Street?good that you are here :) Read more
The place: Thai Street is a counter service business in the Broadway Market food hall. The menu is displayed up above on a... letter board and also on laminated sheets. There?s plenty of seating nearby and outside. On the Monday yesterday, Thai Streetwas one of few counters open which suited my tastes just fine. The food: Everything on the menu is tempting. I selected padsee ew with a level 1 spice (for safety). Food came out quickly and hot! The noodles were perfect, slipping through the sweetsauce without sticking together. I could have gone a little spicier since level 1 was more sweet than spicy. The broccoli wasnot plentiful, but there was a good deal of tofu that was well cooked without being dry. The flavors were so scrumptious that Ihad to remind myself of our dessert plans to keep from licking my plate clean. The service: Quick, efficient, andcommunicative. They took our phone numbers to text us when food was ready. I don?t think we waited more than five minutes. Itseems that Thai Street does a brisk carry-out business as well! Next time: I really need to get a bubble tea. Read more
