Feels like Thanksgiving! This food was made like a grandma (from the south) with love. The shrimp's breading was not too hard... and not too soft; perfectly seasoned. The Mac and Cheese was creamy but not like cheese soup. And the sweet potatoes hold theirshape while your fork pierces them, but they melt on your tongue in an instant. It put us right to sleep. Me and my boyfriend came to Baltimore his birthday weekend and heard so many good things about this place on Tik Tok ?. Let me... tell you I?m a BIG FOODIE!!! And this place was amazing!!! I got the Turkey wings rice and potato salad it was so good !! Turkeywings 10/10 potato salad 4/10. My boyfriend got Oxtails Mac and collard ! The staff were very friendly, and we were greeted upon entry. However, because they are short staffed, full service took... forever. We got tired of waiting for our server who was also taking orders at the register. Therefore, we had to go to theregister to order dessert to go. This restaurant also automatically adds an 18% gratuity to the bill, but they did inform methat I am not required to pay it, which I already knew. They have one private bathroom for men, and one private bathroom forwomen. The tables are small squares that you must be careful not to lean on too heavily. No alcohol is served here. They didnot have all of the sides listed on their menu, and I didn't taste any pineapple in my cold pineapple cornbread. It tastedlike regular cornbread. The homemade macaroni and cheese was a bit sweet for my liking. The catfish was in thin strips, whichtasted awesome with hot sauce. My yams tasted like they were cooked with an alternative sweetner. Customer Serivce was everything here. The food was really good and I can't wait until they open their lounge. I got the oxtail,... mac n cheese, and greens. The cornbread was different.
