If I could give more stars I would!!! This is BY FAR THE BEST PLACE I?VE EATEN FROM IN BALTIMORE FOR SOUL FOOD!!! I am very hard... to please when it comes to food, but good place did not disappoint, I had went straight to the reviews when I came across thebusiness on Grubhub and I detect no lies from the positivity. This food is amazing. Make sure you get there before closing time if you want full menu. But besides that everything is awesome.... About a 20 minute wait. Also I recommend the half slab of ribs with Mac and cheese and cabbage it is delicious. Read more
I love love love Soul Kuisine I?ve been ordering here for a while I always get the billy holiday sandwich with provolone cheese... grilled onions bacon and mustard they have never made it wrong which I appreciate because I?m pregnant and crave it soimmensely. We found this restaurant because it was close to Penn Station and they served comfort food. It is within walking distance so if... you are traveling like we were you can grab you some good food before you get on the train. The food was AMAZING!! The owner wasan absolute sweetheart and she made sure our food was ready before we had to get back to the train station. The blackened salmonwas EVERYTHING and seasoned just right. The Mac and cheese and yams were wonderful as well as the cornbread. Oh and I can'tforget the strawberry mint tea!!!! Amazing!! I'm already trying to see when I can make it back to Baltimore just to go to SoulKuisine lol. This will be a mandatory stop for us whenever we are in town. Read more
Ordered via DD for delivery. When I felt the bag I knew the portions were going to be a good size. I taste test everything... before I actually get comfortable and dig in. The cabbage is seasoned perfectly! The Mac and cheese was not dry nor were thenoodles too mushy. The sweet potatoes were perfect sweetness and consistency too! I got Hennessy BBQ wings and they were amazingas well. The pound cake was so moist and I wish I bought two slices. I never heard of this place and I?m glad I gave them a try! Read more
My family and I were visiting from The Bay Area and was super pleased with our meal and service. We ordered over the phone and... was able to pick up in 20 mins. Food was hella good! Hubby had the Salmon cheesteak that was bomb and I had the Catfish platewith yams & mac. My baby boy ate the rice and green beans.They were out of small cups so they just gave us large lemonadeinstead. Friendly customer service. The cashier was polite and pleasant. There was a bit of a wait to get my food, a little longer than I expected. But she... apologized and made up for it by giving me a free soda which I appreciated. This place is in the city so if you're not used toparking that may be a problem. The crab cake was good season well, the stuffed shrimp were excellent. The cabbage was good, butthe rice was kind of bland. All I know I'm glad I stopped in. They're a little far away from where I live so I may not be goingback there very often. But if I'm in the area, I'll definitely stop by to grab a bite! Read more
I ordered the Patti Labelle and it was pretty good. I ordered delivery and I think my sandwich would have been better if I had... dined in (bread was soggy). I also ordered the mac & cheese because the reviews were good but I wasn't impressed. It was notnasty but I've had better so I could have saved my $4. Read more
