The food is OK. Not really great, but still enjoyable. What stands out about Sapori is the service and staff -- both superb. ... My order was taken quickly, my food came quicker than expected, and I did not have to wait around to get and pay my check. Read more

Umm. Perfect food. Homemade soups. Fish grilled or baked until the best possible flavor is achieved. Green, crisp salads and out... of this world desserts. However, every time that I have been to Sapori I have had to wait between 20 and 45 minutes for food. That's why I give it a 4/5. Also, having to watch other people eat while waiting can make you nuts. Read more

The ambiance was nice. I think they could be a bit more creative with the menu. I had the Alfredo which was delicious. The... waitress was attentive but at times, a little too attentive. The mozzarella sticks are great! I would definitely come back. Read more

Gone downhill. We ate here the first week it opened and were very pleased. Professional service, the food exceeded... expectations (artichoke dip, snapper, mozzerella sticks), and we had a very pleasant experience. We just went back for aspecial birthday and the experience fell short. We arrived at the time of our reservation and the staff continued to set up. To the waiter's credit, he was happy to go back to the kitchen to ask questions about our dietary restrictions. Also sadly, there were no gluten-free pizza or pasta options. The artichoke dip came back and seemed to have no pieces of artichoke orspinach in it, although was reminiscent. No actual pieces that not had not gone through a blender and even the cheesiness wasdecreased from last time. The fish came and was appeared good. However, it was the most rubbery piece of fish I have ever had- and I enjoy my fish somewhat dry. We were the earliest reservation of the night, so the fish should not have been sittingunder a heat lamp or been re-heated, right? I was confused and disappointed in my meal. Finally, my husband noted with thereservation that it was a birthday and was told something special would be done. It was also mentioned to the gentleman whoseated us. The waiter did not know, however, and nothing was said or done. While this avoided mortification, it wasdisappointing that no one followed through. Considering the price of this upscale restaurant, I can't imagine we'll be makingthe splurge again anytime soon. Read more

I am highly disappointed with my experience at Sapori today. Let me start off by saying that the restaurant was not busy, there... were many open tables. I went with 2 friends for lunch. Between us, we ordered 2 Salads, 1 Fettuccine Alfredo and 1 order ofMozzarella Sticks. The Mozzarella Sticks were brought out about 20 minutes after we ordered. We then waited over 40 minutes forthe rest of our food. At that point, we went to the front to pay. We continued to wait another 5 minutes for our food after wepaid. In total, we waited 50 minutes for our food to be ready. I can only imagine that the employees went to a farm to milk acow to make cheese for the Alfredo sauce. Then to the wheat field to pick wheat for the Pasta. They must have then proceeded topick the vegetables for the salads. In all seriousness however, this was quite disappointing. Waiting for an extended period oftime when the restaurant is busy is somewhat understandable. It was NOT busy and there was NO communication that our order wouldtake such a ridiculous amount of time. In addition, there was no apology. We will not be returning and will definitely spreadthe word. Read more
