I found this spot after looking for black owned restaurants that were open late. The food was good. KeKe was our waitress she... was nice. I had an order of lemon pepper wings and a side of the Brussels they were very good. My husband had the Pepsi hennywings and one other flavor; he said it was really good. My cousin had an order of the salmon bites…( chef kiss) they weresooooo good! I shoulda ordered some. When I visit again I’ll definitely be back Oh yeah, there are a couple pool tables aswell. RYMKS (pronounced remix ????) was an excellent dining experience! First and foremost, my waitress, Lee T., went over and beyond.... It has been a long time since I have had that level of customer service! I enjoyed the music in it was at a volume that I couldstill converse with my party. I had the opportunity to try the lemon pepper turkey wings, fried fish, fried chicken, collards,mac and cheese, and corn. The lemon pepper turkey wings are delicious and do not have an overbarren flavor; the fried fish andchicken are on point! I am a little disappointed that they do not have TexasPete hot sauce, but that's my personal preference.My collards were good, but they were not hot. The mac and cheese have great flavor and texture! The corn is unmatchable! Eachentree comes with a bed of rice, and unfortunately, it looked and tasted old. I absolutely love this place. They remind me of the black version of cheers! The bartenders and servers are always so welcoming... and caring. Our server last night remembered our drink of choice from the time we were there like 2 weeks ago. That rightthere is amazing recall and so appreciated! Nice establishment for the day scene and night life, we were happy to come across this Black-owned Business late on a Monday... night. The place was nice and spacious, with a bar area to the right and the upper left provided more comfortable seating. Weseemed to have the place to ourselves aside from the staff and a few others that came and went. The waitress was verypersonable, answered various questions about a wide variety of menu items, which made it easier to narrow down the picks. Thestaff helped warm the ambiance for us by turning the music on in the upper level and the waitress dimmed the lights, possibly inresponse to hearing we were visiting leading up to our anniversary. Food review: the deep fried turkey was ON POINT and came ona bed of rice (yum) in addition to two sides. I wish I'd enjoyed the sweet potatoes and greens more. Hubby had the jerk chickenphilly, flavorful and tender with seasoned fries. He also ordered the jerk rib tips, not so tender but liked the sauce; it camewith plantains and BABY! ???? We were also blessed with a surprise sampler of mac n cheese (YESSSS), salmon salad (MMMM) andbrussel sprouts with jerk turkey bacon (YESSIR)! I truly enjoyed my first time coming here on March 6 2022 for brunch for my Pisces themed brunch and I was truly pleased. Our... server Woody was amazing, along with the atmosphere and music. My party and I ordered the crab omelette, the jerk flat and crabflat bread, the salmon & shrimp and grits, the chili wings, the crab & artichoke dip, the chicken and waffles, and the Frenchtoast. Did I mention the drinks!!!! Oh my goodness the drinks were delicious and the staff constantly checked on my guests and Ito make sure we were alright. My goal was to support a black owned business and I was pleased with my decision to celebrate withfriends and family on my birthday and I plan to most definitely come back and continue to support my people! RYMKS is a whole vibe!!! The atmosphere provides a laid back yet upscale experience. My boyfriend and I started with... drinks-Bahama mama for me and a peach Long Island for him-both were delicious-enough to get you feeling good but not toooverpowering. The appetizers-Brussels sprouts and turkey bacon-BLAZING!!!! We also had a jerk shrimp flat bread that was to diefor! The jerk sauce was spicy enough to provide a kick but again not overwhelming. It was so good we didn’t even snappictures. We haven’t even had dinner yet-maple mustard salmon, sweet potatoes, yellow rice and greens with turkey bacon for meand whiting with greens, yellow rice and potato salad for my love-but we’re already planning our next date night here! I went during a week day. No  hostess at the welcoming desk. I made way to the bar and was informed that I could sit  at any... table. Nice ambiance with soothing R&B. Angel was my waitress and was serving the entire bar area. She was amazing!  Shereviewed the happy hour specials that ended at 7pm and recommended appetizers and entrees.  The crab, spinach, and artichokedip was tasty with sparse crab lumps. The blackened chicken and Cobb salad was a nice mix of sweet and savory. The maple mustardsalmon dressing was an excellent combination! Only draw back was the salmon was cooked hard/over done. The sweet potatoes aremore spice than candied. The bake mac and cheese and red velvet cake were on point! Bathroom was clean and there are two pooltables available for use.
