I love this Ruth’s Chris Steak House over all the others I have visited. The location is convenient within the city limits and... beyond, on the river near pier 5 nestled between Harbor East and The Inner Harbor. The restaurant and lounge are very elegantwithout being pretentious. The staff is friendly and professional; always on point. There’s great teamwork going on herethat appears effortless. The food is prepared with quality ingredients and our menu selections are consistent as ordered. TheSunday Happy Hour is a favorite especially during Ravens Football Season. Daniel our main server and Daniela our attendant were very kind, knowledgeable about the menu and all things acting. I was... pleasantly surprised by Daniel's comprehension of audiobooks and voice actors. He provided a balance of just enough customerengagement and privacy. Excellent steak, good wine. Ritzy atmosphere and nice staff. I took my wife here for her birthday. The cowboy ribeye was... fantastic as were the lobster tails and asparagus. For steak, you'll need to budget approximately 200 dollars per person if youinclude wine and sides. Park at the pier for 10 dollars flat rate instead of the lot right off the road for 23 dollars for 3hours. Read more

Most people know Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and their quality beef and sides. Growing up in New Orleans, we always heard about the... deals and politics taking place over lunch and dinner at the original Ruth's. We decided to take our son out to dinner atRuth's in Baltimore for his birthday. It also just happened to be Baltimore restaurant week. We got some drinks while waitingfor our son and his girlfriend to arrive, then got seated promptly at a nice table. Our waitstaff was wonderful and we gotOysters Rockefeller to start. They were wonderful. We all got the petite filet from the prix fixe menu and most of us got thecreamed spinach. Both were excellent. My wife passed over the salad for the gumbo and it was very authentic and tasty. My sondecided to get a side of potatoes au gratin. Dinner was going well - good service, attentive but not overly so and thesommelier helped us pick a wonderful bottle to go with dinner. Unfortunately, my son's girlfriend found a piece of plastic inher mashed potatoes. We alerted our waiter and he spoke to the kitchen and manager and they were removed from the menu. At theend of the meal our waiter asked if we wanted something to bring home because of the plastic incident, but we weren't interestedat that point. Too bad this tainted our evening. I had a really great and exceptional experience at my recent visit to Ruth Chris. The service was phenomenal top to bottom. The... love of my life my wife suprised me with a trip to the area for my birthday and we stopped in at Ruth Chris on Saturday 7/16/22.Our server Shane was exceptional( I promised you Shane I would write a google review) Shane was attentive and answered all ourquestions. He suggested a dessert dish that was so good! The manager was really cool and we had a great conversation with him aswell. A+ service all around! Highly recommend! Read more

Pathetic Ruth Chris experience. We were seated promptly only to open our menus to a blank book nothing inside. After having to... make our way to the hostess stand to exchange them. Our server was checked out, but polite. He was by the table every 20+minutes water sat empty virtually the entire time. The steak was phenomenal the sides were worthless. I didn’t finish mine andasked for it to go. To my disappointment they dumped the Brussels sprouts on top of the steak in the same to go box. We’llnever patronize this location again. Read more

I will start by saying the staff here was great. Very friendly and sweet. We were celebrating our anniversary here and they were... very nice and put rose petals on the table for us. However, I was so disappointed at this place. For the amount of money we paidI really expect much better than this. I asked for my steak very rare and it came out more like medium well. They took it backand tried again. It seemed like it was gray. Not very appetizing looking. But it was rare. What I typically like about Ruth’sChris is that there is a nice char on the outside and the inside can be rare and delicious. This was neither.
