I live in the neighborhood and tried Mona's for the first time. I got the spring rolls and the beef pho. I haven't had pho in a... while and WOW was it SOOO GOOD! It really was exactly what I needed while feeling under the weather. It was the best meal I havehad in a long time. I am really craving it and already telling my husband I want it again tomorrow. YUM! Read more

So disappointed: the red curry was a watery mess. None of the lovely, coconut milk deliciousness I?d hoped for. Overcooked... peppers, no other veggies. Just a bad time.and ALL the vegetables were WAY over cooked. Slimy green beans. Really, it?s Thaifood: veggies should be crispy and fresh. Won?t go here again. Read more

The food and service here is excellent. The level of spice is relatively subdued in comparison with many other Thai restaurants,... but the balance of flavor and subtlety of seasoning is excellent. Especially notable was that the Thai iced coffee was notobnoxiously sweet as it is in many other establishments. The prices here are relatively high given the rather small servingsizes, however, I was very satisfied with the quality. Read more

Absolutely delicious. Their broth was seasoned beautifully, very warmly spiced. The goodies to pack it all up were plentiful. We... ordered a little extra broth and ended up being able to get two full meals out of one soup. Really amazing work- tastes scratchmade vs coming from a stock or base! Read more

Although parking was not free, I still consider it easier to find than the rest of Baltimore, MD. This place has a great... atmosphere for walking with the family or for couples with plenty of mom-and-pop shops in the area and the food was great! Iadded a few photos of the scenery around the restaurant in addition to photos specific to Mona's Super Noodle to give people asense of the atmosphere. Read more

Visited for lunch and ordered the shrimp summer rolls, calamari, yellow curry, and woonsen soup with chicken. We didn't try any... pho because I couldn't justify the lack of options for the price, esp when there are so many good Vietnamese restaurants inBmore. Overall, every plate was decent. Calamari (my fav plate) had a solid crunch, albeit heavier than I was expecting. Summerrolls were fresh and tasty with the dip, but pretty minimally packed compared to ones I've both had and made. Woonsen soup was asolid alternative to American chicken noodle soup. Yellow curry tasted good too. My only gripe was the curry sauce being so thinbecause you couldn't easily eat it with the rice. In terms of nuance, everything was really straightforward without muchcomplexity in flavour or ingredients. Reminded me of home cooking. For the prices, I'm not sure I'd rush back, but nothing I hadhere was unpleasant. Read more

Summer rolls were outstanding, the burst of mint was excessively refreshing and my favorite part of the meal. The crispy spring... roll were also fantastic. I ordered the veggie pho with tofu because it seemed like the right idea on a cold & rainy day inearly November and it paid off. The veggies were tender & delicious, the broth was thin and took very well to the includedaccompaniments. Read more

First, this was the best (freshest, biggest, and most satisfying) Summer Rolls we've ever had. Take our word for it - after 20... years of pho (great and terrible) and the myriad Summer Roll trials we've encountered, this was a slice of heaven. Everything, right down to the rice, is cooked very well. White meat chicken? Tender and saucy. Fried chicken? Dark meat and juicy. Pho? Deepflavor, and umami. We'll be coming regularly, and enjoying the Laotian tastes and cuisine, as well as the mixed cuisine that isexpertly curated here. 10/10. Read more
