Had pollo con tejadas, it was very tasty. The chicken was not overly large portion but fried well and not overly salty. The... latin cole slaw was well seasoned. Fried bananas also were quite good. There were jalapenos in the cole slaw, good if that'syour thing. Partner had carne asada, grilled beef, also quite good. It's a hole in the wall behind a Subway with off streetparking. Latin music with "disco" style strobing lights. Large bar, TVs and 2 pool tables fill out the area above a scuffedlinoleum School-like floor. They ignored the instructions for preparation I provided on my items. Asked for no cucumber or radish garnish on the tacos and... lite onions. Covered in onions and garnish. Also ignored what I asked on the loaded nachos. Read more
When they first opened they had a great cook. He left and after that they had so many cooks you would run out of fingers if you... were counting. The food was never the same. I talked to a waitress and one of the cooks. They said the owners problem waspaying. That's why they left. I helped him with the liquor license and then I found out I should receive something. My lawyersent him a letter and we asked for minimum and he complained about paying. But yet he got violated for having strippers at therestaurant and the license is in my name. Ordered a steak, shrimp and cheese quesadilla. It was cold, soggy to the point of doughy quesadilla on a bed of soggy lettuce.... Didn't get my rice or beans that I had ordered. Was disappointed because my wife and I have eaten there before and the food wasexcellent, but not this time.
