A place to eat Korean food with BBQ available. We ordered spicy buckwheat noodles and bbq. The noodles were spicy, literally,... and unfortunately the bbq was not as good as we expect. It's not half bad, but doesn't worth the price tag. Menus other than thebbqs are worth to try though. Read more

A GRAND TIME! A group of four headed to this spot after an art show we attended about 15mins away. We arrived close to 11pm.... They asked if we were doing BBQ and immediately seated at a grill table in the back. Pak was our waiter and was amazing on thegrill and telling us what ti mix. We did combo 1 which was more than enough food for the 4 of us. We laughed and ate til ourstomach couldn't take it. Would definitely return when I'm in the area especially finding out there is a karaoke bar upstairs.Only thing is you have to order carryout instead of getting the grill experience. Read more

I really wanted to like this place. Friends from Pa came down and were in Baltimore so we met them there. It has been decades... since we have been at this restaurant. And it really has potential, just need some things to improve upon. The service wasdecent but they could have been a little bit more attentive in terms of water. This place is known for its wood fire brick grillat the table so this is a bit different than the usual gas grill tables. There are so many different Korean bbq's around and themeats are mostly similar. They don't marinate the meats too much, if at all. The flavor is added with the variety of sauces atthe table. And this is where they need to up their game. The amount of sauces that came out were really small so need to keepasking. Also the banchan portions were quite small and somewhat bland. There were no seasoned thinly sliced scallions, not anysliced garlic and peppers. For 4 people, we received about 4 lettuce leaves so we had to keep asking for more. Indeed, it isthese accoutrements that differentiate a good bbq from the others. I mean I can cook these at home much cheaper and have a lotmore of what we enjoy. But once in awhile, it is the ambiance and camaraderie with friends over some soju that you want to enjoywithout all the cooking and the cleaning. So I hope this reaches the owner and he/she takes it positively as a suggestion onimproving what they have. Read more

They have the BEST fried chicken I've ever ate. The "beer" is awesome as well. Everything comes in BIG portions so most meals... you can split. Read more

Everything was really good, the service was just slow the day that I went. We didn't get our menus or drinks for a while and pur... appetizer was kind of cold. They have karaoke rooms to rent upstairs and a bar up there as well. The empoyees were very nice. Read more

Took The Missus (bless 'er) and The Kid out for lunch to Jong Kak- basing the visit on recommendations from other Google... reviews. The place was clean and well-lit. The service was prompt and very pleasant. When we requested an extra serving of oneof the pickles, the server seemed very pleased and brought them out right away. About those pickles: The pickled jalepeno andsprat combination was truly inspired. The other pickles that came to the table were the usual suspects served at a Koreanestablishment and were all fresh and tasty. But the jalepeno and sprats! Our main courses of 'Bi Bim Bap' and 'Glass Noodleswith Beef' lacked a sense of "pop" that one normally associates with above-average Korean cuisine. There wasn't anything wrongwith it, they just didn't really make the old palates rock out. If we were to find ourselves nearby and requiring somewhere tosit down to eat, we would definitely visit again. Maybe go for the BBQ next time... Read more
