Expensive for no reason. $15 base price plus extra for toppings. Pork belly tasted like hash browns and broth was bland. This... would?ve been passable if it was was cheaper. I would?ve had a better time if I got instant ramen and threw French fries init. This restaurant main draw is exploiting exoticism of ramen. Read more

Their posted hours were until 630pm. I showed up at 618 and they refused to serve me because they wanted to clean up and go... home. Totally lame. I won?t go back and neither should you. Read more

They need to update pages on their hours. Today was the 3rd time I have gone to the belvedere square location for it to be... closed during their marked "normal hours". One time it was because they had workers there that stated they had an incident inthe back and had to close for the day. Another time they were just closed with nobody there so I couldn't tell you why. Today Ichecked their website and their website says hours are until 8, but when I got there at 7 they have a handwritten sign sayingtheir weekday hours are until 6:30. Why have times on your website if they aren't going to be accurate. Today is my birthday andthey give you a free bowl if you are on their mailing list, but it can only be day of and I won't get it because of their error.Typically love their food, it is delicious. Last time I had it though, it wasn't as good as normal but I was going to write itoff as a 1 time thing. But can't really judge if it is, if I can't actually go there when they claim to be open. Know you runthe risk of it not being open if you go to their belvedere square location. Read more

We always come here before we see a movie at The Senator Theatre across the street. EJJI is delicious and worth the wait. It?s... always busy around dinner time on the weekends, usually with a 10-15 minute wait. You can also order carry out via theirwebsite. We got the Tonkotsu Porky Ramen. So good! Read more

About 3 or 4 years ago I used to live in the area and ate here a few times and just loved it so naturally now that I am in town... I stopped in for dinner. Sorry to say that I was sorely disappointed. The laksa broth was quite bland - not at all spicy. TheSingaporean soft shell crab was OK but the noodles were also not so good. This place is just not as good as it once was. Read more

Had the Pork Ramen and Singapore soft shell crab mazemane. Good rich taste and broth for the ramen. Noodles were well textured... and sticky. Good overall. Read more

Last night we visited EJJI and I was that customer. I was the customer everyone in the restaurant business dreads. I asked a lot... of questions about menu, ingredients, allergens, and of course possible dish modifications. The gentleman who was helping uspatiently answered each question and we were able to both find something we enjoyed. The pulled pork was better than expected, the Tonkotsu broth was delicious, and the chicken thighs instead of breast meat like other places adds a lot of flavor. Theyalso have veggie noodles for those looking for lower carb or vegan options. EJJI is worth a visit. Read more

Very delicious. Tried the squid ink noodles which was very tasty. Service was quick and the staff was friendly, they answered... questions about the menu and provided suggestions. Will come again soon. They do offer a few Malaysian dishes however doesn'ttaste very authentic (although very tasty). Can spice up dishes with red/green sambal and the Roti in the Roti canai isdefinitely worth trying. Read more
