Saturday, August 27 at 8:22 AM ? I walked in and the girl didn?t even look at me, dismissive since I stepped in. She was paying... too much attention to her phone to even answer my questions. Very disappointed since it has such a good rating, I was lookingforward to trying any of their drinks but this girl is a mood killer. Customer service is lacking here. Read more
I am new to the Baltimore area, and I am a fiend for craft coffee. My partner and I came to this spot after a bad experience... somewhere else and this place has me beaming. The space: there?s a cute lil market with lots of fresh produce. There?s plentyof seating outside and clearly a venue space, surrounded by greenery and raised garden beds. Also cozy lil nooks indoors to sitas well. The food: Nae took care of us and made us the most delicious mochas (they sprinkle tiny marshmallows on top, which Idiscovered is pretty delightful). They have a bomb pastry display with a robust variety and we got to meet the baker-we tried awarm lemon scone and it was moist, flavorful, and filling (good portion sizes here). They also have grab n go food that theymake fresh daily (nabbed some baked mac n cheese because it seriously looks just like my grandmas). Community: this placeorganizes fresh produce donations and volunteering around the holidays (which includes Juneteenth, so check them out soon!!). Amazing spot with lovely people working/running it. Great food and coffee, with a cute outdoor seating area that seems like it?s... also a venue. Major plus for me is that the folks behind the counter are working to help the community with access to healthyfood. Not been in Baltimore long so I can?t speak to what the impact of those efforts are, but it certainly seems like anamazing place with amazing people and amazing food! Read more
Really enjoyed my time here! This was technically my second time visiting but my first time doing brunch. It was a last minute... decision and I?m so glad I came! The atmosphere is amazing. Wonderful outdoor seating area, great service and phenomenal food.We tried a bit of everything on the menu. Highly recommend and can?t wait to go back :) they even had a DJ outdoors. This is one of my favorite spaces in Baltimore! It's cozy and inviting and smells great :) I like to come for Sunday brunch,... usually get the shrimp and grits, but occasionally I will pop in for a coffee and cake/ muffin. I highly recommend the vegancrab cakes; I am not vegan at all lol but it is pretty close to the real thing and is palette pleasing. I can chill and get workdone or bump into some of my fellow entrepreneurs and talk business and culture. Read more
Cozy, eclectic neighborhood cafe with an artsy feel. I enjoyed the fresh chicken salad wrap and the Dovecote special brew cold... coffee is smooth & delicious! Dovecote also offers a diverse calendar of entertaining events. Highly recommend. Read more
