First off, the ambiance was cozy and alluring. I forgot to take pictures of the venue. The food was very nice. My review is as... follows: it seems black has a sweet tooth, which I’m here for ?? Popcorn was so sweet, I wanted to take some home. The drinkwas so sweet, I couldn’t have keep ordering all night long but had to restrain myself. Calamari so moist and wellseasoned. The rib was falling off the bone and the sauce was also sweet which my friend didn’t like but worked for me.Although I like my food more spicy than sweet, I was fine with expanding my taste buds. All in all, I’ll come back for theexperience with more friends and I definitely want my daughters to have the experience like I did. Read more
Finally got to check this place out for a friend’s birthday dinner. The doorman was entertaining and professional. I loved the... lighting and decor. The music was at an appropriate level and I didn’t have to yell in order to have a conversation. The lambchops appetizers came out quickly and were juicy and flavorful. The waitress was attentive, but the entrees and sides took a lotlonger to arrive. The mac and cheese was very greasy, but creamy and palatable. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and wouldreturn. Before going on Saturday, I heard mixed reviews about this restaurant! I wanted to try in for myself!! Was going to a concert... Saturday, so me and my friends decided to go to here! We are so glad we did! The food and drinks was delicious.The lobster Macand cheese was out of this world????We tried several different things on the menu and everything we had was ????The atmospherewas amazing!! We sat at the bar and Manny and Rico was Amazing!! They definitely made you like you wanna come back! The ambiance is breathtaking. A ton of thought went into curating the space. A must see! Had quite a few items on the menu, the... Caesar salad, the chicken box: fries were delicious chicken. Elegance and Sophisticated with a fresh and fun environment. R & B and Hip-Hop remixes echo throughout the dining room that is... furnished with impeccable taste that shows hints of Art Deco with a modern twist. The staff was extremely knowledgeable,friendly, and made us feel at home. Ownership made sure we were happy with the food and showed a true love of their food andespecially what their customers thought of it. The menu had a balance of fine dining with comfort food origins. What wasespecially surprising and enjoyed was their options for vegans and vegetarians. We found ourselves swaying with the tunes whileenjoying some 5 Star dining within minutes of arrival. The drinks are a bit pricey for the amount but they were quite tasty. All staff we encountered were pleasant and welcoming... especially Manny at the bar. All questions about menu items were answered to our satisfaction. Music was really good. I was witha party of 8 so one would guess paying the bill could be complicated but having each person's seat on the receipt made it easyto know who had what. French toast was so good. Had the fish and grits and they were super smooth. The potatoes casserole couldhave used some seasoning but otherwise everything i had was delish. The atmosphere and food was absolutely everything. Came for a birthday celebration and had the reserved conference room.... Absolutely stunning, great crowd and good music too. Food was amazing! Lamb chops and drink selections will definitely have mereturn again. Side Note: Restaurant was packed! It is highly likely when you arrive the entire party must be present to beseated (be on time people) Because the restaurant was so packed and we had a large group (around 10) - service may be a littlelonger. Be kind and flag your server or someone down when you have a chance. Staff was really friendly. All in all, definitelyrecommend! Also - understand where you want to park in advance. Came for lunch. Fast service. Amazing ambiance and decor. Great upbeat music playing. Love the black art/photography. We had the... Signature Black Swan and Summer Breeze cocktails, both of which were tasty. We then had the salmon BLT sandwich and the crispyfish sandwich. The salmon tasted better but both were delicious. The fries are very well seasoned; did not need any condiments.Our server was Liam who was attentive. Would definitely return; want to try dinner next. Read more
