I have eaten at the restaurant many times. But the last few meals were not good. I don't know if there's someone new at the... helm, but the quality of the food has plummeted. Last night, my wife and I ordered fried calamari, tomato & mozzarellaappetizer, and seafood in marinara with linguine. The calamari had no taste. The breading was bland. The provided marinara waspizza sauce. It's a very forgettable appetizer. Same with the tomato, mozzarella, and prosciutto. I've never had tastelessprosciutto, but I did last night. The tomatoes weren't ripe yet and had no flavor. They skimped on the pesto & balsamicdressing. So again, I'd skip this on the menu too. As for the entre, the shell fish was excellent. Large shrimps were servedatop store-bought linguine. The mussels & clams were fresh, and the scallops were good. Other comments, we needed cleanutensils for both my wife and me; the table was sticky and greasy; I asked for crushed pepper for my salad and received a peppershaker; no fresh bread; waitress spent most of her time socializing behind the bar. One more thing, I think it's OK to replacethe lemon and ice in the customer's glass when he asks for a refill of his water. My wife and I used to eat here on a regularbasis. Alfredo's has become our go to place. We have always gotten great meals.
The food is way too good for Main Street Bally PA. I keep forgetting about this place but need to get back. It seems like I only... remember on Mondays, the one day they are closed. Don't be fooled by the "small town pizza joint" impression. This is a greatplace to eat. Read more
Wings are tasteless. Gave a 3 though because everyone loves the strombolis and pizza. Staff is great at the window.
My partner and I rarely go out for pasta, but we decided to give this place a shot after it was recommended by our AirBnb host.... Our meals were amazing, and the staff were very attentive. Alfredo's Pizza is definitely a spot to hit up if you're travelingthrough the area. Read more
The vegetable pizza was surprisingly good. Well seasoned, not too oily, cheesy or saucy. The right balance of all ingredients.... It seems the owner is actually Italian, judging from a conversation I overheard. I asked to have spinach replace the green bellpeppers. That was no problem except they added on an extra $2.50, not a big deal but a little petty in my opinion. We would goback. Read more
Absolutely wonderful little restaurant serving old world Italian dishes. Excellent service and has a bar with great selection of... beer and wines. A must for delicious food. We will return? Read more
