Amazing staff and ownership. I had a late night at work and managed to make it there 30 minutes before closing. They were happy... to serve me. HUGE wings, cooked perfectly. My burger was well seasoned and cooked to temp. Fries super hot and fresh. Irecommend. The atmosphere is that of a laid back neighborhood tavern with approachable food done well. Read more
I feel like this is a hidden gem that few people have discovered yet. Being gluten free it's extremely difficult to find safe... fried food to eat (that isn't fried in a fryer that also has breaded items), so when we heard about this place I couldn't waitto try it. I'm so glad we did. We try to go as often as possible. Everything we've tried has been fantastic; from the fish &chips, fisherman's platter, chicken wings and even salads. I’ve been looking forward to trying out The Galley Bar and Grill since the spring and finally made it up today for a late... lunch. Boy oh boy was it worth the drive! Splurged on the GF sampler platter (was going to get the fried mozzarella but theydidn’t have it yet) and then got the GF shrimp tacos as my main dish! Everything was so delicious! My boyfriend also enjoyedhis glutenfull chicken, bacon, ranch quesadilla. We will definitely be back and we’ll bring our friends. Read more
A bit tough to find off route 9. Heard someone call asking for directions and our GPS gave us funky directions. No beer on tap... yet, still a relatively new place so is to be expected. Staff is very friendly and inviting. Food is 10/10 I had the porktacos and she had the fish and chips. We went at 4pm on a Tuesday, a time when you expect a restaurant to not really be at itsbest. However the food was an absolute delight. From the outside/decor it seems a little sketch but it has the feel of thequintessential hole in the wall. Read more
