Reviews for Canal Side Café & Bistro in Baldwinsville, NY
Cute place, great food. Excellent service and the music is good, too. We had Greek grilled chicken sandwiches with spinach,... mushrooms and feta. Mine was a wrap. I chose homemade applesauce as my side. He had it on a wonderfully toasted roll withhomemade chips. The pickles were the really good kind! Price was very reasonable. Read more

Staff not friendly at all. Left us the wrong bill. Prices were marked wrong on the menu and they didn't care at all to... acknowledge this. Continued to chew food in our faces. Iced coffee was good tho. Read more
Super cute place, with really good food! The noodles in the Mac and cheese were too al Dante, and the bruschetta chicken wrap... needed more tomato and balsamic. They also should add bloody Marys to their menu. Other than these things, this place is greatvibes :) Read more

Good service, food was fresh. My issue is it cost $27 for a bacon egg cheese croissant and a breakfast veggie wrap with bacon. ... Thats ridiculous. Ive paid less than that in the middle of Boston and those prices are sky high. The menu has the base priceas $5 for the breakfast sandwich and $10 for the wrap. They charge $3 for a piece of bacon, and $6 extra for a croissant andsome egg whites. And folks, its not as if they arent buying this stuff at vendor rates in bulk, which is generally 30-50% lessthan what you or I would pay at the local grocery store. Really? I get inflation - but thats price gouging. We all knowswitching from reg scrambled eggs to egg white cost nothing different - maybe an extra 30 seconds separating the yoke outback?.and $3 to add bacon to your veggie wrap? The bill was literally double what we expected. Nickel and dime patrons - theywont come back at those prices. Its called consumer fatigue. There are other options in the area with comparable food optionswith better pricing. Left the server a good tip as she doesnt set the prices, but I wont be coming back. Read more
