This was our first time here. This place was great! Very clean, nice staff and good menu. Nice front and back patio to sit... besides inside. The food was so good and tasty that I forgot to take before pics! We didn't have time for a complete sit downdinner, only 3 appetizers. For drinks we ordered Aperol Spritzs very well made. The mussels in white wine were so soft andfresh, I honestly hadn't had mussels that fresh before. We had clams oreganata, my Italian mom was so impressed, she is preordering trays for Christmas. And lastly we had the grilled octopus with baby cucumbers that was insanely good. Overall solid10 out of 10. We will be back! Oh and a nice small bar as well. Read more
Excellent restaurant with the freshest seafood I have had in a while. I had the broiled snapper and my wife had the seafood... special. Both were well prepared and service was excellent, thank you Elsa! The only downside is there is not much of a view,but the freshness of the fish makes up for that. Btw, the fish is on display over ice for you to inspect. That's how fresh thefish is. You could do that with frozen fish. I look forward to going back again. Read more
Nice local Seafood restaurant right on Route 6 in Mahopac. Had lunch outside there today with a friend. We both ordered the... whiting, one fried and the other grilled. It is served whole (bone in/head off). Everything was good. The fried whiting didn?thave extra unnecessary coats of breading so you could actually taste the whiting. Fresh fish in the case you can see. Fried calamari was well cooked. Crispy and tender. Grilled octopus was delicious and tender.... The lamb chops were delicious for anyone not into seafood! I had the swordfish steak. Grilled perfectly. Cut fresh from the bigpiece in the case. Tender and juicy. I can't wait to return. Staff was very good. Attentive and quick service. Good job guys! Everything we ordered was very good, I had the whitefish and the sauce was delicious. They bring pita bread with olive oil to... the table while you wait to order, I could take or leave it. The back patio is a lovely private quiet area away from the road. The main dining room is too open for my taste, I noticed it's kind of loud because there's not a lot of furniture/division inthe space. It's all tables and no booths. But there's good light and everything is newly renovated. Read more
