The service was friendly and attentive. The front of house was cute and eclectic with souvenirs as well as snacks. You can dine... in the enclosed patio or at the full bar where you can get an adult beverage in an actual glass. This is something I findimportant because I like the environment. The bathroom door didn\'t lock, in the motion sensor faucet was not attached properlyto the sink. Time to get a maintenance person that keeps up on these things, please don\'t be relying on your restaurant staffto do that.\n\nI was glad to see baskets that can be reused for the food presentation, but not happy that there wasn\'tsilverware only the single-use plastic stuff. I would change that because the environment matters. Indoor diners don\'t needplastic to go items, that\'s why we dine in.\n\nThe burgers were okay we had them with fries. We had a yummy outdoor meal at this spot. My cocktail was much smaller than I expected for the price- should have stuck to my... typical glass of wine.\n\nBorn and raised in Myrtle Beach so I have had my share of hush puppies- these are some of the bestaround and elevated on the palate with the jalapeño and honey butter. The consistency was perfection.\n\nThe shrimp basket wasgood - I was expecting a few more shrimp. Great taste- light batter. I really enjoy my time here at Jailhouse. Very welcoming and their food is fair. What I love so much about this place is that... the staffs here do their best to provide you an experience as close as they can to a on land bar or restaurant. For a momentthere I forgot I was on an isolate island somewhere at the ocean! Thank you for being awesome! We just spent 8 days on wonderful Bald Head Island. The Jailhouse Provisions was our favorite restaurant and only place we ate... out because we loved it so much. The oysters were fabulous and probably the best we\'ve ever eaten (and my sister is verypicky!) The shrimp was delicious and the lobster salad was to die for. Perfect onion rings.
