Reviews for The Landing Kitchen in Bala Cynwyd, PA
This place might be my favorite spot with outdoor eating in Philadelphia. The outdoor space is gorgeous, extremely spacious,... good for individuals, groups and kids! They often have games out that are fun for both adults and kids. Their food is reallygood too. I have come here many times for breakfast and on the weekend dinner and drinks. Love love love this place and gratefulit exists. Read more
This a great place to hang out with friends. There is a lounging are in the back corner which is great for playing board games... and hanging out after your meal. There is also a large amount of outdoor seating available. Now on to the food. The menuchanges with the season, but what is consistent is the amazing quality of food. All items are around $15, but the portions arefairly large of amazing quality. I had their wagyu hotdog, grilled cheese with ham sandwich and a large fries for $40. The foodwas so good that I had two meals while I was there. Note: The establishment takes orders at the register and then will bringthe food to you. Read more
Perfect staycation vibes being right next to Residence Inn. Small menu, but delicious huevos rancheros and breakfast sandwiches.... Amazing lounge with connect 4, a hit with the kids. Love the self help and self clean-up. Food was delicious, and the servingware was beautiful. Again, love the hip Cafe lounge decor and laid back environment. Very relaxing, and the outdoor industrialpark look was really cool. The outdoor section was well thought out, with plenty of room for kids to roam, and being next to theSchuylkill River (and Pencoyd Trail) was great. Can even walk to the United Artists Manayunk theater too! Update: Came for asecond time. Even more fun activities for the family. Food and vibes and outdoor furnishing even better than I remember. Nicebustling energy, and great ice cream at The Shack next door (outside in the back). Definitely a family favorite spot. Will comeback, hopefully soon! Read more
Cute establishment with a great outdoor space. You order your food at the counter and they give you a number for your order. The... wait in line is about 30 mins( we went during brunch so the wait times may vary). Drinks are available inside and out, which issomething we wish we new beforehand. The menu isn?t huge, but all the items looked good. I ended up getting a grain bowl, aburger, and a few drinks. Everything tasted fresh and was well prepared. A little on the pricey side in my opinion, but I thinkthe views and ambience make up for it. Defintely a cool spot to check out for brunch or lunch. Read more
Food is 10/10. The breakfast sandwich lives up to the hype. The chicken sausage is moist and flavorful while the bun is a hybrid... Hawaiian bread/potato bread mix. French toast was perfectly moist and not too sweet. Shakshuka was also delightful. Experienceis 6/10. My main issue with this place is that it doesn't know what it wants be. I can't tell if this place wants to be a fastcasual grab and go place or a high end café. This leads to a strange dinning experience where the layout and flow is off. Iwould suggest coming here early or late on the weekend to enjoy the food and the outdoor seating available. Read more

We ate here back in April 2021 and loved the food, location, and experience. I also like seeing how an old iron works site was... repurposed into a great restaurant and hotel across the Schuylkill river from Manayunk. Read more
Great seasonal menu of delicious food that is fresh and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere is causal and there?s always... something intriguing to view from the outdoor seating ranging from the natural beauty of the Schuylkill River to the contrastingbeauty of the steel and wood of the restored industrial elements of the property and railroad bridge.
