While staying in Bal Harbour we tried many different restaurants. Carpaccio stands out as my favorite. A meal as simple as a... cheese pizza for lunch blew me away. It was the best cheese pizza I've had. My girlfriend said the Pollo Piccata was incredible.If it is a nice day, I would strongly recommend sitting outside with a view of the valet. This restaurant is in a beautiful shopping center with outdoor and indoor seating. I high hopes but left a bit... disappointed. The food came out super fast. Too fast to be made to order. The beef carpaccio felt a bit modular in that theheart of palm was in a certain corner of the plate, arugula I'm another corner, parma in another corner. The linguine in a clamsauce. The pasta was not at all fresh and was a bit dry. Undo positives, the service was fast and friendly. The menu pricingwas very reasonable. Overall, I think if you want a nice looking restaurant and are okay with chain restaurant quality food,this is a good place. Located in Bal Harbor shopping center, ground floor. They have outdoor and indoor seating. I prefer outdoor seating so you can... enjoy seeing Mall clienteles arriving at valet parking in their Bentleys, and Lamborghinis ???? it?s quite a show and fun towatch. Who is waiting for which car, guessing game. We got Caprese salad , for appetizer. Warning it a a huge size salad, enoughfor two at minimum. Also Cesar salad which was good size and Calamari. They were all good. Fusilli pasta was tasty andreasonable size. What I was not happy with was this: I went to bathroom and when I came back my son told me they head server notAlejandro, told him he can not wait for me to come back since they are in a rush. So he could not wait for a few minutes for meto come back, although there were available tables indoor and outdoor. Busy on Monday. Be ready to make a line and wait. Know that the line does move fast. They do their best to accommodate everyone... quickly. Service is attentive. Food was tasty. Stopped in for a quick bite today at Bal Harbor. The quality of the food and the presentation were lacklustre. The burrata is... what I would imagine if a blind person who has never seen a burrata before decided to make one. The 4 cheese pizza was ok butnothing special. Overall a great experience! Seating outside was a nice touch and great atmosphere with great service and excellent food! All of... those things must meld together as one to make it a great dining location. While there you must obviously have what?s in therestaurant name, carpaccio! Delicious food and gotta have dessert to close out a delicious dinner! Read more
