The drinks are delicious and the shop is really cute! I like the rewards program on the app and the prizes are really... good/cute. But I can?t give them 5 stars because the morning staff seems to do the bare minimum. My husband and I have been ina few times and the evening staff is really friendly and helpful, but the morning staff ignores us as soon as the drinks aredone. We say ?thank you? every time we pick up our drinks but the staff ignores us as they stand close together talking to eachother. It made me feel like if I had a question or needed help with anything else, they wouldn?t know unless I flagged themdown. It?s awkward and uncomfortable. If you want a good drink, visit any time. I had a hard time finding a drink, a lot of their milk drinks are milk ONLY and not milk teas.... I finally settled on a drink... and it was good, but by the time I got back to my car my ice was fully melted and instead of refreshing iced milk tea I hadlukewarm tea in this bakersfield heat so I suggest you ask for extra ice and hope its a normal amount. I'd rate the boba taste and texture pretty highly, and the drinks weredefinitely up there overall in terms of flavor and quality. Obviously, this is down to personal preference. This was the first time i visited AND tried boba!! Well, i looked it!!! I'm not going to lie, it took some getting use to but... in the end it was very good. Pauline and the guy in the back were super helpful and nice. The black assam we got was the PERFECT sweetness and so was the... boba! Usually the boba is too sweet or not sweet enough. The tea was also steeped on the spot like an espresso! Better thanTeaspoons I?ve had in the bay which can feel a little grimy. Glad they opened this place up and hired some really awesomestaff.
