New restaurant this week. I just stopped in to grab my grandfather some pupusas. I saw they had Panes con pollo so I ordered it.... I only had this once in the past and it was good. Well let me say they must of had Jesus in the back cooking. When you bite intosomething and it makes you close your eyes, I don?t think there are words to describe what your feeling. I like to think ofmyself as a rookie food critic but if I had any weight and credibility I would recommend this as a hit in Bakersfield. Servicewas great and it?s a bang for your buck. I wish I could of took a better pic but I had to eat. Read more

I am intimately familiar with this location as I was a regular at Ihop for years, so I was interested to see what the new... tenants would be like and got a nice surprise! This now appears to be family run Salvadoran restaurant that had some great food! The only caveat is that like Ihop they do not serve alcohol. Read more

The waitress was polite and very sweet! Though ordering was a bit confusing, but we got what we wanted - only problem was that... our chicken enchiladas tasted odd. The cheese enchiladas also had a handful of things in it and was also odd tasting. Our asadatacos were bland, had no cilantro or onions on it. We ordered ONE without cilantro and onion, but they gave us all without. Thebeans were watery - but had some flavor. The rice was very bland. Everything was just bland and just sad... The tortilla's we'renice and fluffy though! Sadly, I will not be returning. Read more

Food was edible. Not restaurant quality. Beautiful building and dining area. Kind waitress. Went to wash my hands prior to... eating passing the kitchen. The door was open and seen piles and piles of dirty dishes. Kitchen area had the smell of a nastyfood dumpster. Unfortunately I will not go back. Read more

Such a great authentic place to eat, food made with heart and soul in every bite. Quite seriously the best salsa I've ever... tasted on home made tortilla chips. Family run atmosphere that's good for dining alone, with a date, or your whole family. Veryhighly recommended, I will be stopping by every time I'm in town from now on. Read more
