My family & I came here for the 1st time and it was alright. The Thai iced tea wasn't good. Trust me, don't get it and I've had... many many thai iced teas over my lifetime. The chicken spring rolls was good. My husband's food and mine, eh, not the greatest. The people that work there is kinda blah to be honest. They seem like they are runned down or they don't enjoy it. The food ISWAY TOO EXPENSIVE for the quantity and quality of the food. We got 2 items, 2 thai iced teas and a 3 piece spring rolls and itcosted over 50 bucks! Yeah, way too pricy! I wouldn't go back just cause it wasn't a pleasant experience and the food wasn'tgood to me. I seriously don't know how the other ppl give this place 5 stars. Those ppl either knows the owner or the otherworkers and told them to give him good ratings or they have never had asian food in their lives. I've had asian food for severaldecades and it is my favorite type of ethnic food so I am very aware of what these types of foods are suppose to taste like. Ithought we would try it cause of the reviews that I read but afterwards, I was pretty disappointed ( except for the chickenspring rolls). So, if you want this type of food, there are so many other places to eat that are waaaayyyy better and prices arecheaper too! Read more

Their kalbi short ribs are my favorite, so flavorful and tender. Every time I'm in Bakersfield, I have to come here!

Not the place to go if you?re craving poke. I realize that this place doesn?t exclusively make poke, but i have to say I was a... fairly disappointed. The poke bowl meat/toppings/sauce options are minimal and to be honest, not the best quality for pokebowls. The imitation crab seems like it come straight from the bag to the bowl. They also went WAY overboard with the spicy mayoand that?s all could taste? Just wish they had more toppings, better crab, and maybe ask how much sauce you?d like???? Thai milktea was great though! Love this little restaurant! Its a casual restaurant and you order as you come in. It looks small inside but they have plenty... of tables. Every time I've gone there, I've been lucky enough to not have to wait in line but it seems there's always a rushafter we come in. I've seen the line out the door! Their service is great. I've seen them super busy with just a few employeesand they still pulled through for a busy evening. Their pho is amazingly delicious and their spring rolls are addicting. Ihighly suggest the shrimp and the pork spring rolls (separate, as they have one w both shrimp and pork). The shrimp is basicbut still so good. The pork though has so much flavor! They come with their peanut sauce that is perfect w the spring roll????As for the pho, my favorite is their shrimp and also their spicy beef. Soooo good! I've dined in as well as had take out andtheir food is delicious both ways. They have a small menu but plenty of variety. Their main is their pho which I've tried alland they're all good and flavorful. They also have veggie options and plates for those who don't want pho and those aredelicious as well. Their servings are also very big and you'll leave satisfied and full! I only discovered this place with mydaughter's suggestion several months ago and I'm sad I didn't know about them before! This has become one of my fave places togo for asian food and/or pho. Highly suggested! Read more

This place is really great! The first thing I noticed was it smelled really clean. There's a good amount of seating and the... tables are a nice cherry wood color. There's not much to look at in the way of decorations or atmosphere but I did appreciatethe tv playing music videos from the 80s. I ordered the Grilled Pork Chop plate and a Thai tea. Both tasted amazing! The porkwas well seasoned and it came with white rice and undressed salad. They give you a side of dipping sauce of a kind of fishsauce. The service was nice. I let them know it was my first time visiting their restaurant and they were quick to let me knowthey'd answer any questions I had. I also had a side of the classic pork and shrimp spring roll. It tasted very fresh and had agood crunchy center. The peanut sauce they served the spring rolls with was very tasty. Overall, I had a very good experiencehere and the food was very tasty. Definitely would recommend. Read more

Quality of food: I started off with a Thai Tea (without Boba) and some pork and shrimp spring rolls. The Thai Tea was the... perfect ratio of tea with the mix, I was very happy with the flavor of it. The spring rolls were very fresh and a greatappetizer choice. The peanut dipping sauce was not too sweet and had a little spice added to it as well. My main course wasgrilled chicken rice bowl with an added egg roll. The flavor of the egg roll wasn't my favorite, but everything else was toonotch! I would definitely order this again. The chicken was grilled to perfection with great flavor, the steamed rice was stickyand evenly cooked. The side salad also was very fresh. Dining experience: There was plenty of seating in the dining area. Thewhole place was very clean and organized. They were playing 80s music videos on the TV, my favorite! The woman that helped me atthe register was VERY helpful. I mentioned that this was the first time I've eaten here, every item I was interested in shedescribed the flavor a texture in great detail, it definitely confirmed that what I was interested was the right choice forme. Pricing: The pricing was very fair in my opinion for the amount of food they served me. The grilled chicken bowl in mypictures was about $12 bucks, it would have been $10 if I didn't add the egg roll. The 3 spring rolls were about $7 bucks andthe Thai Tea was $4. Really not much I can complain about as far as pricing. Recommendations: I'd definitely recommend thegrilled chicken bowl with steamed rice. I don't think I would order the egg roll with it again. If you're a fan of Thai Tea -try it out! The spring rolls are also an easy recommendation. Read more

Good Poke Bowl but somewhat pricey and limited options. $10.45 for a bowl with two scoops of protein, and they only have 4... options. As you can probably see, there wasn't much protein total, plenty of rice tho. The taste was good, and I got full, butnot enough protein for the price. Plus the drinks were like 3 or 4 dollars average for a medium tea for example. I asked for thesizes and wasn't interested after I saw how small the cups were for the price. Then I was offered a fountain drink, which wasn'ton the menu, for 3$ and it was slightly larger. The register also asks for a tips while you're paying, which isn't entirelyuncommon practice, but it puts you in this weird predicament of, do I hope to hope the food is done better and faster as well asreward the employees without knowing their quality yet, or not tip and risk getting bad customer service. I don't like that. Read more

Spring Rolls are the best! The menu isn't too big, but what is on there is huge in flavor, delicious, generous portions, and... just very well done! Service is friendly, they like taking your order quickly. Wait is "medium" but that's okay, they won'tdisappoint once you are served their well prepared food. Food presentation is noteworthy too. Dinning room is clean and so arethe bathrooms. Read more
