My husband and I eat at Mesa often. The food is always great and the service is usually outstanding. Last night, we were very... disappointed with the service. The young lady that initially asked for our order was seemed irritated that we were even there.The young man that made our burritos also seemed irritated and even audibly huffed when my husband asked for more sauce. Theyoung lady that took our payment was very friendly, until... my husband hit the " no tip" button( we usually tip). Her attitudeinstantly changed. The few words she spoke to us after that were short and mumbled. Once our burritos were finished and foodpaid for, we had to wait several more minutes for our quesadea. Ultimately, our food was good. This place was pretty good. I liked the style of the restaurant. The food was good, even above average, but didn't stand out as... being incredible compared to other options. I did like that the portion sizes were very large. That said, you pay for thoselarge portion sizes. I felt like the bill was a bit higher than I was expecting while ordering. Adding extra toppings can addup. I got the loaded nachos and my wife got a Cali burrito. The kids split a bean and cheese, which was definitely big enoughfor them to share. My wife and I should have shared the nachos. They were huge and in the end I couldn't eat all of them. Infact I only got down about 2/3 of them and had to toss the rest. That's very abnormal for me. I wished that the nachos wereserved different. The chips got so soggy under all the toppings. If the chips, with real cheese melted on, were served in onetray and the toppings in another they would have been better. Then I would have saved them instead of trashing the leftovers. Walked in a little after 8 pm to make an order and the young man told me if I wanted to order it would have to be through the... drive thru because the lobby was closed yet they were helping someone out. I decided to not even go through the drive thrubecause he was very rude and seemed annoyed that I even came in. Super disappointed with the service!
