HORRIBLE! I ordered over the phone and we picked it up. The supposed to be fried chicken was dry and old tasting and not fried... at all. I specifically told them NO Pork, but they put it in my food anyway. The sweet/sour sauce was watery tasting. The softnoodles were served in a torn taped bag. It was absolutely horrid. Then I used more gas to return it. They refused to refund me.Instead they offered to remake the order which was just as bad as the first time and they were paid for fried chicken and didnot put it with the order. $35 down the drain. THIS PLACE IS NASTY HORRIBLE AND NOT WORTH THE TIME. They offered no discount formy gas no refund for anything. NEVER AGAIN and I will POST my bad experience with this place in hopes to help others NOT TO EATOR ORDER from this place. Read more

don't ever order take out from this place. Ordered take out for my kids and I and my two young kids took a couple of bites and... they were done. I ordered what used to be the their special and the sweet and sour chicken was horrible, I don't rememberchicken legs being white meat . The shrimp was all bread and it was soggy. The chow mien tasted bad and the ribs were burnt .Had to order more food because nobody would eat this. That was 75 dollars for nothing. Never again. I wish Hong Kong was stillin business Read more

Legendary deliciousness, for me the late 80's till 2022 and beyond, I left town for 13 yrs, no two Chinese food joints are... exactly the same, you accept what you are given. The atmosphere @BLBC is and has always been upscale, even looking into the baras an adult I want to take a nap or do some blow lol, it's still that cool. Still an attractive young woman greeting and seatingyou!?! I need to come here more than twice a year, bottom line. The food is good too, parking never an issue Read more

Service was ok. Food was good but egg soup was too salty.

First time eating here and I'd only go back for the Dr. Mui rice (MAYBE) . It's like a combination meat fried rice it had beef,... shrimp, chicken, and pork i believe. It was pretty good. Ordered the orange chicken and it was absolutely terrible. The sauceit's tossed in really had no flavor and it was mushy no crunch or bite. Tasted as if it was microwaved. General tso from thefrozen section at the grocery store sad to say is better than what I received. Try the rice if you wanna try anything. Read more

Never a bad experience here in the many years we have been coming. Had been awhile since our last visit and I'm happy to say... it's just as good as I remember. A bit of a wait to get seated during a busy lunch period, but well worth it. Food, service andambiance was all top notch. Bill Lee's is still setting the bar for a fine Chinese experience Read more

Great atmosphere, decode, and huge family-style sizes for the dishes. We went on my husband's birthday to specifically eat... noodles (long noodles on your birthday helps you live a long life!). We always end up taking food home too. Read more

Tried a few new to me dishes tonight and it was all delicious. Mandarin duck w/Cantonese noodles, chicken lo mein and classic... sweet and sour chicken. Another Bakersfield institution continuing to live up to its history. Read more
