Reviews for Nirvana Indian & Nepali Cuisine in Bainbridge Island, WA
Relaxing atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff, and a decent selection of vegan options with portions that are just enough... without being too much or too little. I had the signature Nirvana curry with tofu - delicious! Great stop for homey Indian andNepali cuisine in Winslow. Read more
The food was so good we didn't stop to take pictures, fresh, authentic, and delicious! Highly recommend the Tandoori chicken,... it's worth the wait! Also best korma without being too sweet and perfect amount of spice for medium. Try the garlic naan, it'sfresh and amazing! Such a nice surprise to find authentic Indian and Nepalis food on Bainbridge Island! Read more
What a perfect way to close a perfect day. We E-Biked the Island all day, so we had quite the appetite, and craving walking... in. The minute we walked through their doors, (as it's upstairs, inside a little 2 story mall), the smells from the kitchenwill transport you to a foreign land, and if that doesn't work for ya, then their lively music will... Our server was quick, kind, and supportive. Our food, perfection... Such flavors, colors, and the portions were sufficient...even for our E-Bikeappetites. I need a nap! When's the last Ferry arriving?! Nirvana indeed... Go find yours Read more
Really loved the place! Food was super tasty and I’m glad this restaurant puts up advertisements in the main downtown because... we wouldn’t have known about it otherwise being from out of town! I care about this business having a better review becauseit could easily have a higher one. My only suggestion is about the decor (updating it a little) and to turn the lights on alittle stronger and have a nicer scent when you first walk in. And there was an office on the side that you can see into, maybejust covering that a little bit! Read more
GIVE THIS PLACE A CHANCE, IT'S WORTH IT. I sincerely don't understand the lower rating and I think the negative reviews come... mostly from impatient and privileged people. The food was some of the best Indian food I've had around Washington state. Theflavor was very balanced, the spice level was honest, and the portion size was ample. If you're not willing to cook food athome to this degree, then you should have the patience for the struggling restaurant businesses everywhere who are trying tomake it to Serve You. Read more
You can tell the food here is made with absolute love. This family treats their guests with kindness and hospitality and always... makes for a great experience. The food is genuinely delicious, comforting, unique, and always served hot. The owner recentlywent out of his way to accommodate a “quick meal” so we could catch a movie on time and we were grateful. Go here for yournext date night or family meal before catching a movie. You will not regret it! Read more
Oh soooo goood! It was so good that I came back today and brought my family! We love Butter Masala/ Butter Chicken and it... was perfect! The best I’ve had in a very long time! I forgot to take a photo of the Paneer Pakora because we ate it sofast it was so good! Cooked in my opinion to perfection!!! All the dishes were just right! Indian food is so varied fromrestaurant to restaurant. It is also varied by regions and family recipes. This is now my new favorite Indian Restaurant. Wedrove from Gig Harbor to eat here for my birthday dinner. They were so sweet, brought out a little dessert with a candle andsang happy birthday to me! The owner was so nice and the service was just right! I seriously could go on and on about thisrestaurant. I almost didn’t eat here because of the varied reviews. So my advice is give it a try. After eating here twicenow, I can’t see where the complainers comments were coming from. I guess some people like their Indian food different. Iguess you can request more spice but for me… it was perfect. The prices were in my opinion very good! Thank you for two daysof amazing meals! Read more
Relaxing and clean atmosphere for a dine in. Good thing about this place is that it is open throughout the afternoon. We came in... for lunch as we were super hungry and ordered a variety of items. This place is a little on the expensive side when comparedwith other Indian restaurants around Seattle. Garlic naan is really good and freshly prepared. The chili paneer is also good butif you want it more spicy per the Asian tastebuds you may want to select the spice level as hot and not medium. The curries weretasty as well. The Kathmandu momos appetizer were a bit bland and had an average taste. The nirvans platter had a combination ofveggie samosa, veggie pakoras, paneer pakora, chicken pakora and shrimp pakora. The veggie samosa and veggie pakora were good. The chicken pakoras and paneer pakoras were not fresh at all. It felt rubbery while eating. Read more
