Stunning view of the Bras d'Or Lake, great food and friendly staff.

Found the bad egg in Baddeck! The dinner was absolutely horrendous. The seafood stew didn't provide any sauce, bouillon or... other moisture, just dried up mussels, scallops and fish, either yesterday's or the cook threw out the stew and then heated itup. Served on a solid blob of rice, which wasn't mentioned on the menu. The menu said all dished were served with a choicefries, rice etc. But we were charged for the extra fries we had to order since the stew didn't mention the rice. For fear ofintoxication, unable to eat it. I got a fish and chips, which was fried a dark brown, no lemon slice, the sauce and side ofmayonnaise was not good. Ate the fish as it appeared fresh. So that's one star, congrats. The draft beer wasn't to our tasteat all (sour, opaque, dark colored IPA). Maybe that's not the restaurant's problem but the they could advise. Service wasabysmal. Breakfast buffet would have been better with fresh food

If you go to Baddeck and don?t go there ! You?re missing out on a great dinner. Plus you have a great views . Cesar salade +... Fettucini Lobster +Hamburger were excellent, better than everything we had around and fairly price (Freight Shed ?OK? butoverprice and Bell Buoy Bistro ?average? and small portion. Read more

I cant rave about this place enough!!! Most friendly staffed restaurant that I've ever been too, they were super busy, still got... served in a very timely manner! Beautiful view and the presentation of their food is phenomenal. Read more

The service was great, the view was fantastic, the local wine was exceptional, and the fresh local grilled salmon was to die... for. We went on vacation to Cabot Trail almost a month ago now and I would go back just for this salmon. I was disappointedwith the rest of the salad however and left most of it untouched. Raw mushrooms, a bunch of raw red onions, not veryappetizing, but that salmon I could go on about for days! Read more

Beautiful view and good food. My husband and I each had a salmon dish and it was delicious and came out in a timely manner... (although we got there 45 mins prior to close so there weren't a lot of people). The waitress was friendly but I felt rushedwhen ordering (which again could've been the time we were there). But overall a delicious meal and good experience! Read more

My wife and I had our dinner here last night. Our seat was by the window, I doubt I've been in a restaurant that could beat... McCurdey's for scenery! Penny, our waitress was hard working and friendly, she also enhanced our experience. As to the food,it was very good. I had a New York strip steak and my wife had fish and chips and we both agree that while it might not be thevery best we've ever had it was damn good and we both were very happy punters at the end of the night.
