Being a Chicago native, I was disappointed by the taste and amount of beef in the Italian beef sandwich. It tastes like it was... seasoned with Tajin and lacked the savory taste I'm accustomed to. It was sprinkled with red seasoning which is odd. Overall, Iwould not recommend Skips for Italian beefs if you're looking for authentic flavor. Read more

One of my favorite spots in town. Skips is more than just Chicago Dogs, which by the way are delicious. They have a great menu... of items to satisfy anyone. Their Philly Cheesesteak and Chicken Philly is so good. They also have burgers, hot sandwiches,fries, wings, chicken strips, etc. I always receive great customer service every visit. This Burger DID NOT taste like 100% Beef. You would have to ask them if they add fillers to their ground beef. The first time I... had food from Skips (2021), I did a Google search to try and find out where they are located because the Cheeseburger was sogood, I wanted to patronize them. It took me 10 years to find a place in Georgia that could make a real Chicago Hot dog! Skip's totally nails it! Not only do... they have great "authentic" Chicago Hot dogs, they have Italian beef, Italian sausage "for the beef sausage combo" and realMaxwell street polish sausage. Today was my first time eating at Skip's, we came in on lunch break and this hot dog shop was a pleasant surprise! Lived in... Atlanta for about 10 years and I never heard of this place. And that is quite regrettable. Ordered two bratwursts fries and asoda, and they were quite delicious. Despite having hot and fresh food, the service was a remarkably short wait.
