Looks can be deceiving. I went here because this is a restaurant that I went to 20 years ago and I felt like it was an iconic... moment to go back. My expectations of the meal were quickly let down. The presentation on the plate was good. When we wereordering our meal our waitress would not look at me but spoke directly to my husband which was upsetting to me. The mealalthough presented well was not flavourful. It felt like I was eating bland food. I have to say that it will likely be another20 years before I return. This restaurant has been excellent for years and has been in Arizona for a very long time. Food is great and the place is huge... with lots of seating and plenty of parking. Only recently has the service degraded. Maybe they are short staffed but there isusually no one at the entrance to sit you down and you have to wait a while until someone notices you're there. They are a bitslow in bringing food out and giving you the check. May be time to hire a couple of more people to help. Food is still tasty andfresh. Read more
Lunch was good but nothing spectacular. Was seated right away. Drinks came quickly. Salsa and chips followed. Salsa was very... good. We both ordered a combo. We were served in a reasonable time but only about 6 tables were occupied. Food was good but Ithought last time was better. Staffing was slim. The waitress was good but it took the hostess over 5 minutes to seat us in an almost empty restaurant. The chips were... different. They tasted similar to store bought. They were not freshly fried. We were only allowed two hot sauce for 3adul ts. We used to be treated better. We always tip well. I don't know but it seemed different and a little off center. Read more

I love food. My passion is trying new places. I always love to see how many different ways the restaurant for example would make... a chimichanga or a burger. I especially love going to a restaurant that is a home made business versus going to a chainrestaurant. The food is usually so much better at a home made place and the reason I chose this place to have lunch. When Iwent to this restaurant I must say the appetizer Mexican pizza and warm chips and salsa was very delicious. Everything else wasjust not good at all. The waitress was not very nice to me or my daughter but seemed to smile and give great attention to herother tables. Just not to us for whatever the reason was. Our burrito, soup, and tacos were extremely salty. Maybe it was afluke but we will not be returning. Read more

Had the #22 on there menu, enchiladas, tamale and tacos. Boy you want good food I recommend this place. Price is right and the... service was great. We all enjoyed our food and the atmosphere. Our waitress was also so great. Definitely going back ?? Read more
