Let me start by saying I am a LONG time fan of Peter Piper Pizza. We love the family atmosphere, and consistency of their... product across their restaurants, whether we are in AZ or Waco, TX, and the deliciousness of their classic pepperoni pizza. However..... today's visit was less than favorable. We placed an online order for ONE large Pep-Pizza and an order of breadsticks at 3:17, with a "ready-time" of 3:38. FORTY minutes later, the breadsticks were ready... BUT under-done and tough, andwith a melted container of marinara oozing from the box. Upon picking up the breadsticks, I was told that they forgot to put thepizza in the oven and that was the reason for the pizza delay. The young lady working the counter offered LITTLE by way ofcustomer service or remedy, although she did replace my marinara. Long story short... don't trust their ability to deliver yourpizza at the promised time, or for them to resolve any time/ product issues, at least at this AVONDALE location, but the pizzais still good. This location is generally good... relatively clean, most of the machines tend to work. The pizza is edible. The one downside... that really irritated me was the photo below, that is an unaltered ?full order? of zucchini! 6 little pieces!! When i inquiredwhere the rest was, i was told ?its by weight?.....your scales must need to be checked. Read more
Great location, dining room is good, gets packed on the weekends, but usually you don't have to wait too long for food.
