Reviews for Krispy Kreme in Avondale, AZ
Manager and employee just discriminated against my son and embarrassed me. As we were in line a white lady and a white boy was... in front of me getting free donuts because he had A's. Happened to be that we were there for the same thing. The boy said I have8 A's and she said the max you can get is 6. So he picked the donuts and they were given to him. My 13 year old son logged infine and showed proof of his grades before he was able to select his donuts. Now for my 6 year old I was getting an errormessage and I was not able to log in and show her that. She said I can't give you his donuts if can show me his grades. I toldher that the lady and the kid before me wasn't asked anything is it because my son is Hispanic. So I asked to speak to themanager. The manager said oh She should've asked for it but I said she didn't. Which is not fair that she took the white boysword for it but not one of my son's. I even showed her the error message the school website was giving me. She didn't care so atthat point it was about the free donuts anymore because I bought 4 dozens for his school. It's more about her making my son feelbad that his word was not sufficient because he was a different race. So I left and made a complaint over the phone and theyasked me for their names which I didn't have. So I went back and ask the manager for the information. She said to me I want youto know that I pulled the video and she did ask for a report card. At this point she made me real upset because she's calling mea liar now. I told her no she did not she asked after the fact because I complained. As a manager she acted so unprofessional bytrying to embarrass me. At that point my son website was working and I showed her his A's and she didn't bother to apologize orgive offered his donuts. He never got them! Instead she rolled her eyes as I walked away and told her employees, " I'm notworried about it, don't worry about it"'. This is the worst experience ever in my life and not for Read more
Cold drive thru donuts. Ordered from here before, donuts are always warm. Frankly told today that they are cold, made early in... the morning, and stored up to 48 hours so they should be good. Unbelievable. If I wanted cold donuts, I would just shop Wal-Martdonut for cheaper and convenience. Thanks but no thanks, your explanation makes no sense to me. Tell people upfront that theywill get COLD donuts. Read more
Pretty good for a snack after my class in Avondale. I love hot cocoa but this was more like barely warm cocoa. Donuts were old... and no taste. Might have been close to closing time. Might go before class next time. Read more
It?s 8pm and they close at 10pm however, the guy said that they are sold out. How do you sell out of doughnuts at a doughnut... place? Idk how much easier do they want there job to be. This lazy kid shouldn?t work here. Customers purchase from here whichthen employees are paid. So who?s loosing at the end? Read more
I?m extremely disappointed in Krispy Kreme today. I pre-ordered a dozen of the chocolate glazed donuts yesterday morning and... scheduled them for 11:45 pickup. I arrived at 11:35 and went to the drive thru and waited about 3 mins and got no answer. As Ipull up I see the drive thru worker in the window. I go in and there are two other orders (not mine) ready on the shelf. I tellthem I?m here for my order and they tell me ?there aren?t any chocolate glazed right now?. I talk to the young man more andeventually ask him what time I should come back. He then asks supervisor to which she says 1:30. 11:45 to 1:30 is a huge gap inwhich I have a commitment to tend to at that time. It want the time that upset me to be honest. The supervisors attitude wasdismissive and nonchalant, instead of apologetic for not having my order ready on time. She basically told me to wait, get arefund, or make due with something completely different than what i ordered. Which again isn?t the issue. Her attitude was theissue. And everytime I come here there is an attitude problem with someone. Last time my donuts were burnt and they basicallywere like ?ok? like what??? So yeah :/ Read more
I am highly disappointed with their online Halloween promotions and the way it transfers to the store. I ordered the Spellbook... dozen online plus a bonus of scary sharies, "reserved" a time for pickup only to be told they were sold out when I arrived atthe store. How does that even happen? What is the point of "ordering ahead" like the site indicates if they won't beavailable? I usually get my donuts from Dunkin because it's closer to my home but I wanted to surprise my daughter with cuteHalloween themed donuts in a Spellbook so I drove a bit longer only for it to be a waste of time. It ruined the surprise, thankyou for that. This is nothing against the employees, more so the company that should set products you've ordered ahead aside.Instead, I had the 2 dozen I ordered refunded and took my daughter to Dunkin to get her spider donuts. Fresh, soft and delicious donuts! I have not had Krispy Kreme is a while, so this really hit the spot. I ordered the strawberry... kreme donut and the classic glaze donut. They were both amazing. The staff was nice and welcoming. Read more
We used to go to Krispy Kreme all the time in CO. When we go here we went twice but selection was bad. First time left with... mainly glazed. Second time we just left. We decided to give them another chance since holiday ones sounded good. Again, notgreat selection. When, I got home the donut were half the size they normally are. I know the holidays are coming but you do nowneed to count my calories for me. Plus my 7 year old was almost able to eat the entire box in one sitting. We eill probablynever go back to that local. Krispy Kreme please build better one in Buckeye. And yes that is an oreo next to a lemon donut. Read more
