Never even tried the pizza. I'm sure it's great. However, staying at the Cape Hatteras Motel only eight minutes away, we were... told it was a $40 minimum. I don't care how good you think your pizza is, that's ridiculous. I'm sure they're loved in Avon, butif you're in Buxton, I guess you either have to spend $40 for them to go 5 miles down ONE SINGLE ROAD or you're just SOL. Willnot go to them again because of this. We stopped in for lunch . We had fried ravioli appetizer portion was generous. We had the meat lovers pizza . It was good .. the... crust was chewy and crispy . The pizza could use more sauce but I like more sauce on my pizza. I would give it a 6.5 out of 10 .Not bad but nothing that would make it my go to pizza place Read more

3/26/2022 Nino's is always a great choice when I'm down in Avon. On my latest visit we stopped for lunch the day before the... fishing tournament. We arrived around 1-2pm and had the entire restaurant to ourselves. Our server quickly took our drinkorders and decided on their largest pie as there was four of us. This was a 20" Big Nino with Pepperoni, Mushrooms, Onions andItalian Sausage. I think it took about 15 minutes from placing our order for the meal to arrive on our table. I have to tellyou it was a work of art. However, work of art or not, that pizzas time on this earth was short. Between the four of us thatpizza didn't last 10 minute. All in all, a great meal. I never leave here unsatisfied. If you're down in Avon, NC and lookingfor some Pizza you cannot go wrong here. --------------------------------- 11/23/2017 I've eaten Nino's pizza several timesover the years but it's always been delivery. This year while I was down in Avon / Hatteras for the annual fishing tourney wedecided to stop by Nino's before leaving town. It was a lazy (and I do mean lazy) Sunday afternoon when we dropped in. Thetourney was over and we were packed up and just about ready to leave when we decided to get some lunch first. As we came inthrough the door only one other table was seated and they looked like they were just about finished up. We grabbed a four topand started looking over the menu. Since there were 3 of us we decided on their largest pie which is a 20 inch pizza called the"Big Nino". We went with a Meatlover's set of toppings. The pie took about 15 minutes to make and once it arrived it was truly athing of beauty. In short order we devoured most of the pie and I took the last couple of slices with me back to Chesapeake. Ireally enjoyed the pizza and in addition I love supporting the local businesses while I'm down in the OBX. I'll definitely beback. Read more

Our fishing group has come to the OBX for over 20 years and this was the first time we ordered from Nino's. We highly recommend... the meat lovers pizza. We called in the order and picked it up 15 minutes later. Granted it was late October but that was quick.The place is small but the menu is not. Next year we'll probably try dining in. Read more
