Had a ribeye steak cooked perfectly. The server Jana was wonderful and very personable!
First, reservations are highly recommended for dinner. The walk-in wait was 30-45 minutes. We were seated at a very nice table... until my wife felt something very cold on her back. We looked up and she was under a AC vent that dripping water. Not only that,it had fuzzy stuff growing on the vent. NOT A GOOD START! We asked for a different table given the circumstances and theyquickly moved us to a different table. Not under a AC vent. Charlene greeted us with a warm smile and was quick to our needs.We ordered the riblets. They looked great but weren't hot. They replaced them with hot ones. The riblets were really good andlooked like normal ribs. The main entrees came and all the hype about their steaks were spot on! Made to order and we'reperfect! Charlene was great during the whole evening. She gave us complete history of the restaurant and the family ties thatmade it the great place that is today. The evening was going great until we used the restroom. For such a wonderful place withall the people they have in this restaurant, they need to have better restrooms than what they have. Single use restrooms insidethe restaurant didn't make any sense to me. Plus the fact there wasn't any AC in these and no ventilation. What a bummer. If itwasn't for the restrooms and the general cleanliness of the facility, they would have gotten five stars. Read more
Great food, can't say enough about it. Great steaks, fresh bread and home-cooked tasting sides. Servers were all friendly but... had some trouble keeping up with how busy they were on this night. Normally Great service. Read more
Great place in a town that's a little out of the way but definitely worth the drive. Very good chicken fried steak but the WOW... factor is the dessert. Haystacks. Delicious Funnel Cake sticks with tons of Powdered Sugar and Chocolate and Caramel dippingsauce. Your meal comes with a great choice of sides. This restaurant is definitely worth the drive from anywhere within ahundred miles. The staff is wonderful too. No wonder folks come from everywhere to eat here. Read more

Came here for the first time during dinner time. First, the service is superb! The servers did such a good job to make sure that... we were taken care of. Secondly, the food was amazing! We ordered the ribeye and the sliced brisket plate. It all tasted sogood! It was worth the drive. I highly recommebd! Read more
We?d heard a lot about this place, and were really excited about finally getting there. We were seated in the outdoor dining... area, and was seated at a tall, sticky table. The beer we ordered wasn?t available to be served outside, so we ordered a glassof wine. Not the worst thing that could happen. We ordered two of the cheaper steaks from the menu, one rare and one well done.They both came cooked the same, on the well done side of medium. We didn?t send it back, although our server offered to. Shenever came back to top up our water or ask if we wanted more drinks. As we checked out, we mentioned the disappointing meal, andwe got a lame apology. Very disappointing because we had heard such great things about this restaurant and were really lookingforward to a great meal. Read more
