Ran into this little joint on my way to pick up my son from school. I decided to get a bite to eat to kill some time and am so... glad I did. I am making it a mission to try as much as I can from their menu. Their Passion Fruit juice is the best one I haveever had, and it's officially something I will always crave. My favorite arepa so far is the beef . It is different from othersI have had because it is not overwhelmingly covered in sauce. It is simply delicious and the garlic sauce is just enough tomake it flavorful. The staff is really nice, and will definitely be back. Read more
First of all ! Let me start by saying I?m 100% Venezuelan . I?m writing this review for my English speaking people . Ana was our... server/counter person today ! She was Amazing , very friendly , very honest , and always on top to make sure we were ok and hadwhat we needed . She made a couple of suggestions of plates and she emphasized that the Arepas are big and pretty stuffed, takeher word because they are ! Let me start with the apps that we had. The Venezuelan beef empanadas and tequeños , very fresh ,hot , tasty and cooked to perfection . The cilantro sauce for the empanadas it?s the closest u can get to the Venezuelanauthentic green sauce AKA Guasacaca . Extra points for the sauce because it was yummy ! Cortadito , cafe latte , very good ! Wealso had 2 arepas , the beef Arepa and the pernil arepa . Although it?s not very typical that they add pico de Gallo the tastenevertheless it?s delicious . Now , the beef arepa it?s shredded beef , just heads up , it?s thin chunks of meat , I have to sayI was very impressed of how delicious it was . The crunchiness of the arepa, texture and well cook , was just perfect , the sizeportion it?s big . Double think if you are having 2 arepas . Overall I give this place so much credit , the place it?s clean,the food it?s very authentic , extremely delicious , and very welcoming people working in the back , to make sure your foodcomes out fast ! This little shop is a diamond in the rough! EVERYTHING is delicious here. If you can find the time to swing by for a tequeño,... empanada, or any other tasty Hispanic treat, do yourself the favor and I guarantee you will not leave disappointed! Read more
Empanadas flavor is good. The size is so small for the price. got 12 empanadas for almost 50$. not coming back.
