We live in Dallas and have loved Zuzu's for 35 years. All stores have closed now and we are thankful that Austin has this... fabulous Zuzu's still open and they have remained true to the fabulous recipes and fresh quality of their food. My recentexperience was so good it almost made me want to move to Austin just to get to eat there daily. WONDERFUL. The GM - BrandonGarcia - has a great attention to detail and I am sure this is why their food is so good and the experience is so fabulous! Now, if they will just open a store in Dallas! :) Read more

My first ZuZus visit was probably 20 years ago in North Dallas. Before you knew it there were probably a dozen ZuZus in the... metroplex, but over time one by one they shut down. Those of us who loved ZuZus and still crave their hand made Mexican foodwill be happy to know that one ZuZus lives on and carries on the tradition here in Austin! Read more

Not the best I've ever had. Ordered the steak tacos. They are greasy, greasy. They are also salty and there is way too much... rosemary in the spice. For my sides, I ordered the corn relish (corn was old, so chewy) and the roasted potatoes, which werepretty good. My Guacamole and chips...was really a salad as the bottom was filled with lettuce. I will say the chips were thinand very good. Read more

Fresh Mexican food with plenty of vegetarian options. They have lots of delicious sides, fresh salsa and fresh pico de gaillo.

This is a nice little restaurant hidden in the corner of a small business strip. They have well-organized ordering, with... customers entering and immediately bring in line to order. Trouble is that at the register there is a bunch of "stuff" thatpartially hides the register.  The counter is simply crowded. They have a varied menu of standard Mexican food fare: tacos, burritos, nachos, quesadillas, fajitas, etc. Their vegetables are always very fresh and the various proteins are grilled andseasoned very well. They have fresh salsa of different intensity as well as fresh cilantro, pico, and other items to add to yourmeal. Currently, due to COVID precautions, they are individually packaged, and I find the servings to be more than adequate. I'ma huge fan of their chicken tacos and chicken quesadillas. However, while always tasty, the quantity of chicken each timevaries. Their steak tacos are really good too.  They are tasty and filling and the cheese is just right. There's nice outdoorseating that I recommend when the weather cooperates. If you're in the area, this is a good place to stop in. Odds a very goodyou'll be satisfied with your meal. Read more
