Zeds is truly a hidden gem tucked into a neighborhood off busy MLK. We always manage to get there just before the parking fills... up! I've told all my friends they have to try it. Flavorful, fruity ice cream without the heavy, overly sweet taste other icecreams default to. The staff is super nice, too. I like the casual picnic tables and dog friendly atmosphere. Plenty of shadeand fans in the hot summer. My partner and I have a mini-date here a couple times a month. Quick, casual outing for a littletreat -- pretty affordable, too! It's getting cold soon, but my partner and I will keep going whenever we can! Read more

I loveeee their soft serve! I?m lactose intolerant and it?s surprisingly hard to find DF desserts that actually taste good. I... love Zeds because their soft serve is light, fluffy, and fresh with simple flavor combos. I?ve tried the strawberry paleta, blackberry with coconut cream, and banana with caramel & choco chips. My husband usually gets some trifecta of chocolate, crunchies, & banana with the regular soft serve. Their patio is no frills but overall cute. Only complaint is the persistentflies. With ice cream dripping on all the tables they?re probably impossible to keep away. Zeds a little off the beaten path butalways worth a visit. Read more

So unique, tasty, and high quality! They have specially created dishes and I got the blackberry pie. Loaded with gram cracker... crumbs, Carmel and blackberry flavored ice cream. So tasty, so light. Excited to try more! Read more

This ice cream was so creamy, fresh and delicious. I got the banana base with Oreos and sprinkles and my bf got the strawberry... base with some crumble on top. Really cute spot and great ice cream - I've never seen New Zealand style ice cream before but itdid not disappoint! Read more

Wow, what a refreshing and unique take on ice cream. Blending the fruit with the ice cream makes it super fresh. And love that... they have a dairy-free/vegan option available. Having sampled both the regular and dairy-free versions they?re prettycomparable. Read more

Great fruity flavoured ice cream. Very refreshing and balanced! I tried different ice cream of this style and it?s easy to make... it too sweet and artificial. For a large portion you?re looking at $7-8+ $1.25 for the waffle cone. Definitely come try it! Read more

Delicious! You can build your own or select from 3 pre-made special options. We ordered a small #1 Banana Peanut Butter and... small #3 Strawberry Dream. We were able to share them. The Strawberry came through a lot more than the Banana. The nuts in thestrawberry complimented it well while the chocolate chips were a little over powering for the banana. There was no inside areato sit, but they had misting fans and shade. They don't open until 3 M - Th and noon on F - Sun. Nice sweet treat. Makes youfeel like it's a healthier option. Reasonably priced. Nice area to enjoy and you can even watch them make the desserts throughthe windows! Read more

I usually prefer hard ice cream over soft-serve but the fresh fruit in the ice cream and the toppings makes this ice cream... really special. There are just enough options to get creative without being overwhelmed. We opted for two of the specials:Strawberry Paleta and Blackberry Crumble and really enjoyed both. There is only outdoor seating but all the tables haveumbrellas and there are fan misters along the wall, which made this scorching afternoon much more comfortable. We were herearound 1:30 on a Saturday and there was plenty of parking and no line. I can see how it might get congested during a morepopular hour. Read more
