I can't say enough about the great management team, Janet with the night shift, Lisa with the morning shift, Rachel with day... shift. Everytime I walk in the restaurant it's clean, staff is friendly and welcoming. Restrooms are clean, the drink andcondiment area is fresh and always stocked. They always go that extra mile in my experiences visiting the Kyle location. And themaintenance employee who is always washing the sidewalk, scrubbing away the grime from the night before and he always does itwith a smile, always friendly. The drive-thru staff are thorough and friendly in taking orders. The great customer service fromthe staff is a reflection of the excellent management team. Last time I came here, I requested a chicken sandwich that was cooked fresh, because the last one I had was so dry and cold it... was like trying to bite beef jerky. The guy taking the order said they would make it fresh, but he sounded like he didn't care.My sandwich was just like last time, cold and hard. If you want to wait 45+ mins for 4-5 cars to go through and then get food that isn?t fresh then come to this location. Their... drink machine doesn?t work properly and they know it doesn?t but they still sell you trash drinks with hardly any carbonation.They?re usually out of things like spicy ketchup, certain size cups, straws, etc which usually means poor management. While this location might not be idea, my visit was outstanding. Upon entering, the staff and store were clean, friendly and... inviting (quite a feat at this location). We were greeted by the cashier Dennis, who was friendly and helpful. Our food camequickly and the employee who brought it to our table was very pleasant as well. The food was prepared perfectly and wasoutstanding in quality and taste. Super impressed considering I know the location is rough, but this Whataburger is a shiningbeacon guiding hungry patrons through it's doors! Read more
The food came out really fast, the French fries were fresh out of the fryer however, my chicken strips were warm and tasted like... they had been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. This location definitely has a homeless issue, we saw a few homelesspeople coming in and out of the bathroom. My son had to use the restroom and ended up holding it until we got home and weobserved a homeless man digging in their trash outside. That's unfortunate but overall not a horrible experience. Unfortunately I assumed the order they gave me was correct. (My husband ordered on the app so I didn't know exactly what was... ordered.) I love whataburger but this meal was gross. My husband asked for toasted buns. What we got was burned bread. It wasliterally black. Guess someone put the bread on the grill and forgot about it. I'm surprised the add on (avocado) was actuallyadded to my burger. My husband ordered Coca Cola for me. What I got was unsweetened tea. My husband ordered 2 cinnamon rolls. Wewere only given 1.
