We made dinner reservations after this place was recommended by the Thompson employees, and it definitely did not disappoint.... The food and drinks we ordered were all delicious. Definitely an upscale restaurant (expensive), but there is a lot of foottraffic in the dining area since the restaurant is on the same floor as the hotel pool. Between us we got only one alcoholicbeverage and 2 entrees and it was $100+ before tip was added. Read more

Great ambience, service and food!! They have a beautiful rooftop lounge seating overlooking downtown\n\nWe got boiled peanuts... hummus and spicy pecan pepper dips. It came with side of bread. The dips were amazing especially the hummus. The spicy pecanpepper dip had a nice tangy flavor from the pomegranate. We were full from all the bread we kept eating. We also got the ceaserand gem salads. Both of them were fresh and light.\n\nFor entrees we got the burger and sweet potato tacos. The burger was tastywith the right amount of sauce, cheese and meat paty cooked nicely. The sweet potato tacos were excellent as well with crunchychickpeas and pickled onions. Overall had a great lunch time and the service was on point. Read more

Excellent atmosphere, food and service. Red pepper spread aka muhammara and baked feta with pistachios are musts! Cheeseburger... was also delicious. Will be back to try other menu items. It was too hot to sit outside, but it would be great to enjoy the viewalong with the fabulous food on a cooler day. Read more

My husband and I were looking for a spot to dine before seeing a show and we were pleasantly surprised to happen upon this spot... in our search. We made a same day reservation for the dining room, the doors were open to the outside and the weather waspleasant that evening. We were able to place our drink, app, and main order all at once and things came out well paced. Thecocktails looked delightful. The food was amazing. We haven\'t stopped talking about the bacon wrapped dates since we leftAustin! I highly recommend WM! Read more

We had an amazing experience here! The food was delicious, the service was great, and it had a good atmosphere. This is... definitely one of the best Mediterranean style restaurants in Austin. I would definitely recommend the red pepper dip and thechicken. The chicken easily feeds two people, maybe even three and is delicious! Read more

What a delightful meal. With a menu of bright, flavorful, vibrant dishes, such as the ones pictured here: roasted beets &... whipped feta with citrus, herbs, & pepitas), a wagyu burger, gulf scallop crudo, red pepper dip, and a bevy of desserts, ourgroup of 5 loved every bite. Not pictured (because we ate them too quickly): bacon-wrapped dates and charred octopus skewers.Obsessed. Will definitely be back. Our server could have been a bit more attentive (we had to ask for our table to be cleared offinished/empty plates and had to ask for water when we ran out), but the delicious food more than made up for thatpart.\n\nParking: there?s a hotel valet, but pro/cheap tip: if you go on a Monday night there?s plenty of street parking, whichis free on Mondays & Tuesdays after 6pm. We parked right outside the building. Weirdly the street entrance (with the big WaxMyrtle?s sign) was locked during business hours, but if you enter through the Thompson hotel lobby and take the elevator up,you?re good. Read more
