At first we walked right by the food truck that is Via 313. It is located next to or on the property of the Star bar. You are... more than welcome to sit at the outside bar area without drinking. You order at the truck and they bring the pizza to you oncedone. Now for the pizza. It was delicious. The sauce was flavorful and the dough was crispy on the outside. The two pizzas wegot were both the Detriot style with the thick crust. I had the Ambassador Bridge. The Ricotta I think made the pizza. It wasmeaty and cheesy. It was the perfect choice. My friend had the Herbivore pizza. She loved it. The ranch tasted like homemade. Myfriend also enjoyed her original Orange Faygo. Read more

Really good pizza. They have a nice plain vegan option and vegan cheese for a small up charge. The portions are pretty good for... the price. There can be a long wait at this location but the estimated wait times are very accurate in my experience. Read more

Via 313 is among the top 2-3 best pizza's I've ever had. Your ingredients and sauce are very flavorful . I just tried a Jet's... pizza (a competitor who also makes Detroit style crust)....nowhere close to as good as yours. You should invite the owner ofJet's to fly down to Austin and try yours. Detroit-styled pizza was great - made in a square pan, sauce was seasoned and there was plenty of cheese. I got the Omnivore... pizza, which was basically a supreme pizza. I'm personally a sauce kind of person, but this pizza was made with cheese as thebase layer and a line of sauce over the top. It was good nonetheless - the bread was airy, the crust was crispy, and thetoppings were fresh and flavorful. Only knack I will say is that bread was a little thick for my liking, although that's justbecause I prefer thinner pizzas (like New York) and this was my first time having Detroit styled. A small pizza (around 15bucks, equivalent to a 10in round pizza) is enough for a person for likely a single sitting. I got a large (which is equivalentto a large 14in round pizza) for about $28 I believe. I took half home for another meal. Also! Since it was our first timethere, our waiter gave us free cinnamon bread sticks! Great service overall, and the food was awesome. Read more

Visited this Via 313 location during a recent Austin trip from Philadelphia. Was very impressed! We came by during a very busy... time and we were able to get on the wait list and sit at the bar until a table opened up. The service was great, with ourserver making great recommendations. Our food was quite good - we each got a different pizza and every type was delicious. Ifyou're in the area and looking for some pizza, you should give this place a try. Read more

Via 313's pizza is sublime. I didn't want to believe the hype, then I tried it. Five stars, an essential Austin eatery. ... Gluten-free version is as good or better than original. Read more
